It's a good zoo within a big park, mostly antelopes, but you can see some zebras, monkeys, giraffes and a large hippo. They also have a big butterfly enclosure and keep wild cat cubs. Make sure to hold some 5 or 10 peso coins for toilets, which are well maintained, as the only place you can get change is the taqueria outside the zoo. Wheelchair accessible and they have toy car trollies to push toddlers around in if they get tired of walking. Good for a family day out including the park.

A great zoo with plenty animals to see. Plenty person come here, after all it's Mexico City so expect a large crowd. There are a few stores available with options for food and souvenirs.

The zoo was a decent size. We saw plenty of animals. I enjoyed myself overall. They have vendors outside the zoo and places to eat too. Oh if you go bring your own toilet paper!!! A bunch of the stalls didn't have any. As well as be prepared to pay for a WC (bathroom).

This is an amazing zoo! We spent a day here and saw many amazing creatures. My favorite was the pandas. We even ended up coming back later in the week because my boyfriend wanted to (and I wanted to see the pandas again). It's free to get into the zoo but plan on bringing some pesos to use the bathrooms. Outside there are lots of vendors and food options.

They need to start charging people to enter this zoo so they have more money for maintenance of this zoo. The animals look like they have been abandoned and don't get fed as much as they should. The animals definitely don't have enough space and look like they're really bored. Cleanliness can also be improved. There are a great mixed of animals here would be better if they start getting their act together and take care of these animals. The animals should definitely get more space to roam around and have toys / activities to keep them entertained. Please do the right thing for the animals

This zoo is as good as or better than most of the zoos in the US. Clean, well-landscaped, with fairly spacious habitats. Worth a visit for zoo lovers or if visiting Chapultepec. You can't take food inside the zoo, but you can check a bag for 15-20 MXN pesos.

The closest and biggest zoo you'll find in CDMX. Mixed emotions might be experienced here according to your personal experience on watching wild animals under captivity. Avoid resembling yourself into a megalopolis, these animals' suites are luxurious in contrast.

Honestly this was an amazing experience. Very educational and you need many hours to explore it. But don't worry because even if you are on a budget, you can revisit as much as you want because you can't bear the price!!

Free zoo and they have pandas! The first zoo out of China to successfully breed giant pandas. I highly recommend the free visit and walk around the forest.

Chill place man with mad vibes. One of the monkeys had definitely gone a little too bananas and was trying to scape the cage. Poor little guy needs some more of the wild so I hope he is okay. Other moneys had pretty cute self inflicted middle parts which made me think of my finances and tax season. Overall would return but would hope the pandas Shuan Shuan and Xia Chua would come out of their apartments and enjoy the expansive playground made for them and for us to enjoy watching them in. Not a loot of hawkers unlike rest of Chapultepec which was nice. Free entry!

The zoo is free. Kids love it. It has pandas. The park around it is amazing too, except for the vendors.
