  The figures are impressive, but it´s packed of tourists. I´d rather go to other sites around Mexico City, like Xochicalco to be honest

  Poorly maintained area. They make you walk around the far side of the park as the handy walking distance entries are closed & abandoned. The local Tula govt & others responsible deserve a kick up the backside. A long way to go for a small piece of history, I felt it necessary to visit because I am very interested but others shouldn't bother without a great interest in the Toltecs.

  It's a shame the local government is letting this place look so shabby, with some investment in workers to keep the cactus gardens tidy & grounds keepers to clean the ugly dead grass (fire hazard) some advertising & some bloody signs plus reopen the entrance closer to town. Wake up Tula, this is an incredible place that seems almost forgotten.

  Make sure to get a tour guide. Tula has one of three fully intact Chacmool. On Sunday it is free for citizens of Mexico. We were unable to find a English speaking tour guide. However, Rafa was an amazing tour guide. Passionate about what he does and very knowledgeable.
