The absolute best most wonderful experience. My kids got sea sick, and the captain, tour guide and navigator (Alan, Salvador and Elmer) we so caring and so amazing! We saw whale sharks up close and personal. They took great care of us. I recommend eco tours to everyone.

Did the whale shark tour recently and had a wonderful experience! Reuben was an amazing guide, and we saw 12-15 whale sharks as well as several manta rays. Learned a lot about the whale sharks and their habitat and behavior and had an amazing day. Definitely a favorite experience.

Very exciting swimming with whale sharks. Huge beautiful and curious animals. Our guide Paola was very knowledgable and kept lively conversation throughout the day. The captain and sailor both Oscars were helpful and professional. Our last stop at isla Mujures famous north beach for a swim in georgous turquoise water made for a lovely stop. This is a tour I highly recommend worth every penny.

Even being the tail end of the season, a day of bad weather, and only finding a handful of sharks to swim with, Marco and the company made sure we had an awesome day and got the most out of our trip. I would definitely go back again. I have rarely seen a guide as passionate about his work than Marco.
The whale sharks were pretty friggin' cool, too :)
Additionally, Marco and his office staff went above and beyond in order to find my lost sunglasses and return them to my hotel, even though they had no other reason to stop again at my hotel later that week. That was very much appreciated.
And so that you know (office people) my hotel was able to finally locate them and shipped them all the way back to Virginia for me so I am finally reunited with them! Thanks to everyone who helped on that mini adventure.response / report this review -

Fantastic experience. I'm so glad we went with this company. Our guide, Eugenio, was quite possible the nicest person I've ever met. His enthusiasm for the ocean and the whale sharks was contagious.
Eco Tours was very responsible; there was always a guide in the water with us and two people on the boat monitoring things. They only allow two people at a time to get in the water with the whale sharks which made things much less hectic and, I hope, less stressful for the sharks. I saw some of the other boats letting everyone jump in at the same time and it looked dangerous.

"Absoluter Wahnsinn - super Erlebnis"
Einfach nur WOW !! Dieser Ausflug wurde uns von unserem Tauch-Shop Scuba Playa so eindringlich empfohlen, dass wir gar nicht anders konnten. Auf dem Boot war dann unser Guide Rolien sehr hilfsbereit und sehr gut organisiert. Wir haben einen sehr guten Tag erwischt mit ca. 60 Walhaien - natürlich nicht nur für unser Boot Ein paar Hinweise: - geht nicht, kurz nachdem es geregnet hat - weniger Oberflächenplankton = weniger Walhaie - die Schwimmweste reicht völlig aus, einen wetsuit braucht man nicht - die 20 USD sind einfach zu viel teuer - wenn ihr aber einen eigenen habt, würde ich ihn mitnehmen - Schnorcheln an der Oberfläche reicht völlig aus, da die Haie an der Oberfläche schwimmen um das Plankton einzusammeln - bitte haltet den Abstand von 2 Metern unbedingt ein - Respekt vor diesen wundervollen Fischen VIEL SPASS - froh dies gemacht zu habenresponse / report this review -

Snorkeling with whale sharks was on our bucket list and we were not disappointed! Mark and Cesar were great guides. They really seemed to care about the sharks and were very knowledgeable about them. The boat crew did a great job and were able to get us some great pictures!

Hacer esta excursión a mar abierto para poder tirarte al agua con tiburones ballena mientras comen, es una experiencia única e inolvidable, que todo el que tenga la oportunidad y posibilidad deberÃa hacer! Disfrutamos muchÃsimo. El equipo y nuestro guÃa se portaron genial. Estuvieron atentos en todo momento con una gran profesionalidad y un trato genial. 100% recomendable!!!

I think it was a unique life experience and unforgettable . The staff is extremely knowledgeable and passionate about his work. A manic organization and punctual. David is an outstanding guide , a true champion in explaining and follow you .

Premetto che sono un viaggiatore ed amo la natura con tutte le sue diversità ! Ma soprattutto amo proteggere e rispettare la natura perché siam parte di essa
Ho trovato questa agenzia di tour che mi ha stupito per la sua attenzione al rispetto della fauna e flora nel nostro tour ecologico con gli squali balena! Ottimo servizio in barca e trasporti puliti e comodi!
