This place of worship was a historical church building that before being demolish had been used by the church believers or so call Cristeros that the Mexican government was persecuting because they felt threaten by the mostly Catholic worshippers. Un lugar historico de adoracion donde los Cristeros se reunian para practicar su fe Catolica ante los abusos y persecucion del gobierno Mexicano por miedo a que fueran comunistas. Every July 16th there is a big religious holiday and the street is closed off with fireworks and food stalls. Cada 16 de Julio hay una fiesta de la Virgen del Carmen con juegos pirotecnicos y comida muy familiar.
