We stayed in the neighborhood and this restaurant was near by and had good reviews so we stopped by to get breakfast. We got seated right away and we sat by the window where we could see people walking by. The menu has plenty of items to choose from and we got coffee and our food. The food was good as well as the coffee and our server came around a couple of times to check on us. People started to come and soon enough the restaurant was pretty full. I like the decor of the place since it has very high ceilings, paintings on the walls and a store right next to the restaurant that we visited right after our breakfast.
Afterwards we did stop by their museum in the back and upstairs so if you have time visit it as well.response / report this review -

Fantastic place to see the incredible graphic design works from Mexican visual artists. There’s a store with beautiful souvenirs to buy.

I enjoy older cathedrals, and this one is right in there. A beautiful old church with lots of iconic tableaus of various biblical figures and scenes. The worshippers are flowing in and out all the time. I wonder if they have archeoligical bn or architectural tours, that would be fascinating also.

We were there for a visit and the place is awesome for Design enthusiasts. The food and service is very good. We had different salads, adding tuna and praws. (The tuna is actually tuna steak.) prices around 150-180 pesos with the top ups. Well served and displayed. I would definitely get back to try other plates. Some of them have a chef signature. Range of breakfast, meals, entrée, deserts.

This place is great! Cost was 45 pesos and includes a guided tour. I was the only person in my tour and the tour guide spoke English. It has so many different poster from artists across the world. There is also a restaurant and gift shop attached. The tours are every 30 minutes, so plan ahead. Highly recommend.

Best place to have lunch. The service is great and the uniqueness of this restaurant is that it is a museum. Best place to enjoy coffee and view Mexican art.

Hip breakfast and lunch cafe near the Zocalo. We came from breakfast and enjoyed their dark roast Americano and omelette. We were tempted also to try their black "charcoal" waffles, which were truly unique. Very light and delicate luxurious & exquisite, much more than fluffy. Totally unexpected delight. We took photos of the waffles and made our whole family curious & envious. Coffees were a wee bit small, and service a little slow in the beginning, but we would definitely return to fuel up before a Zocalo tour, or to rest & replenish after a day of walking this great City.

This museum is a labor of love, everyone is friendly, enthusiastic and passionate. I went there and had the guide to myself as you can only visit the museum with a guide, he was very friendly and knowledgeable. There is a wonderful exhibition about "Death with a smile"it was very interesting, I could have stayed there for hours looking at the amazing posters from all over the world. The building is just beautiful and it has been restored by the owner, with love and respect for the architectural style. The cafeteria and store are also a great asset and a place to relax, between museum visits. Please don't miss this amazing museum.

Is a great place to spend time with friends, learn a lot, and its a familiar place too, secure and with police station. There's a metrobus line near here.

Excellent location, the Cafecito Olla is exceptional. Great artwork for on all the walls (for sale also). We arrived about 45 minutes before close and service was a little slow though. Probably just because they were going to close soon.
