A very nice and clean beach with a lifeguard even on a Friday morning. Clean water too, though a bit silty, but I did see a fish.
You do have to walk out a bit for a proper swim, but it's no problem to find 150cm depth inside the boundary buoys (and you'll have it to yourself since Mexicans don't seem to swim). Closer to the beach is perfect for kids.
Access is free, but everything else is for rent, a changing booth and a shower will cost you 20 pesos, and sitting down at a table with a parasol will get you presented with a menu from one of the restaurants.
Not really crowded when I was there, the morning of a school day in February, but I'm told that it's almost impassable during summer vacations.response / report this review -

It's pretty calm but there are garbage on the beach. It needs to be cleaned. The view is amazing you can see the aquarium and Sacrificio's Island but the trash around the coast is disgusting
