The view is beautiful. They also have safety nets up in the water so you don’t have to worry about marine life when you swim

If you're looking a beach to swim, go to the old cannery beach, pass to the marina and the naval HQ. Only locals go there, is clean and not crowded, calm swells and not steep.

The beach is never suitable for swimming (unless you're a maverick surfer ;). It is too steep so waves and currents are strong.
