Good location in the center of things. Golden zone a centro about a 35 minute walk. Hotel has a pool in front so noisy but I didn't mind

When I first arrived to the hotel they gave me the wrong room. I stayed there for two days. Afterwards they changed my room to the original room that I reserved.
The mini fridge was locked. I couldn't bring food and alcohol from outside. You dare to bring food and drinks, the security gard and the recepcionist yelled in your face. Because I brought food that was no purchaded in their hotel. The hotel only permits drinks and food that you buy at their restaurant.
The hotel misleads people with their advertisment , they advertise like the mini fridge in your room.
When I checked out, they charged me coffee that was supposed to be a cotesy drink.
I will never stay there again!
    I do not recommend it!

We paid for dinner and seats here for the fireworks display. We waited a long long time for our food and it was cold when we got it. We ordered dessert and it never came. We left without it. We were placed where the fireworks could not be seen from our table.

The rooms and staff are nice. It does not have the best location but the beach is right across the street (though there is a construction crew working on that place right now). The room was not ready on time and they did not like we tried to rush them: "well if you want it faster I could give you another one now but that one will not have the same ocean view" 2 different people told me this, as if they had that speech rehearsed. They do not allow bringing food inside the hotel but snacks and water are ok (this was not a big deal for me). The hotel has a restaurant outside and all the menu is available in room service.

Stayed here for 4 nights and had a nice time. It is located right on the malecon steps away from the beach. The restaurant is truly delicious for breakfast lunch and dinner and has a happy hour from 1 to closing at 11 p.m. It is located right by the swimming pool which is spacious enough for kids and parents wanting to dip their toes in, it even has a slide. This is a high value, clean hotel to stay at in Mazatlan.

Nice set up on the beach, not too expensive. Very helpful on the parking lot. Food is pricey.

Mandatory wrist bands (seriously, wtf? It's not like this is a five-star resort here), Only one key per room. No complimentary amenities. Prohibit taking food or drink to rooms, to encourage you to pay their rather inflated prices for room service. Also, inadequate lighting in the room. Staff was decent and cordial. Beds are VERY firm. A very "no frills" sort of place, that tries too hard to act like a nicer place It would be a decent hotel if the policies weren't quite so unfriendly to their own customers. One plus: great location, and half the rooms have a pretty nice view. However, If this is what four stars looks like, I'd hate to see three.
