Very quiet And nice place to see a lot of pre-hispanic, and early hispanic arrival to Mexico, 2 or 3 hr in rhe complete visiting, good places to have lunch or dinner outside by walk

This museum is a must. The colonial heritage of Mexico relies on this museum alone. Spain's colonial holdings in the New World are pretty well documented here. The religious scent along with art, architecture, geography makes this jewel worth. Be prepared to travel through time and feel shrouded in the mysteries of the colonial age in the New World.

excellent place. monumental museum, need more than 4 fours to visit it. the old church in sensational. price is cheap for the given content. the place was a Jesuits convent and there are many of the church development in Mexico. highly recommended

Great place, a number of artifacts and food for a quick look around. Not a major museum or anything but well worth the time! I think that at a minimum it should be visited if you are already nearby by but isn't special enough to make a special trip.

You really travel back in time. There you have a huge amount of real art distributed along a huge monastery. As a part of the museum there's a real treasury of baroque in the temple. They really give you an account of that time. Cabrera and Villalpando. It really worth a try.

Beautiful paintings and historic items throughout. The main halls of the church all have important pieces on display as well as takes on some of the early invaders in Mexico. Make sure to have a nice meal before you go to this museum as it's very large and it can take several hours to cover everything.

Great place to visit. Lots of rooms displaying a great variety of interesting historical items. Entrance is free on Sundays.

Spectacular! A most when you visit Mexico City although it is far from other tourist areas. A grand barroc temple, great paintings and the areas where the school used to be as well as the gardens are well kept.

This is a superb experience. The historic buildings, the square, the markets, the ceremonies, surrounding restaurants. Charming town. Don't miss it.
