The objective is to integrate these spaces within the network of natural refuges of the World Nature Foundation.70

The vegetation of the park is typically Mediterranean and, in general, maintains the specific characteristics of the Collserola mountain range. The forest area is notable for the presence of oaks and oaks, as well as some strawberry trees. The lower area of the farm had been used before the planning of the garden as an orchard, with plantations of carob, olive, myrtle, white pine and vineyard. For the construction of the garden, the area was repopulated with new species, some of them from warmer climates, since this area is sheltered by the northern winds and has good exposure to the sun; species such as magnolia, washingtonia, palm and Canary pine, as well as various shrubs such as rosemary and broom were planted. Also, thanks to the abundance of water, species such as the love tree, the cottonwood of Canada, the elm, the acacia of Japan, the linden, the banana, the horse chestnut or the redwood could be planted.72

In addition to the labyrinth, formed by cypress hedges (Cupressus sempervirens), the park has numerous plant species, among which are: boxwood (Buxus sempervirens), linden (Tilia tomentosa), cedar of the Himalayas (Cedrus deodara), yew ( Taxus baccata), cocula (Cocculus laurifolius), Jupiter tree (Lagerstroemia indica), holm oak (Quercus ilex), laurel (Laurus nobilis), sequoia (Sequoia sempervirens), pine (Pinus halepensis and Pinus pinea), oak (Quercus robur) , euonymus (Euonymus japonicus), durillo (Viburnum tinus), pittosporum (Pittosporum tobira), barberry of Japan (Berberis thunbergii), ivy (Hedera helix), flower of love (Agapanthus umbellatus), fern (Nephrolepis exaltata), rusco (Ruscus aculeatus), ash (Fraxinus ornus), banana (Platanus acerifolia), etc.73

Canary pine, as well as various shrubs such as rosemary and broom were planted. Also, thanks to the abundance of water, species such as the love tree, the cottonwood of Canada, the elm, the acacia of Japan, the linden, the banana, the horse chestnut or the redwood could be planted.72
The fauna of the park is typical of other green areas of the city, although the proximity to the Collserola mountain range favors the presence of forest species that are not found in other urban parks. The plant density of the park favors the nesting of the birds: the presence of some eighty ornithological species has been detected, among which the pigeon and the sparrow are those that have a greater population. The presence of squirrels is also abundant.74 Among the rest of species can be found from bats, jinetas, moles, wild boars and badgers to snakes.69 On the other hand, in the aquatic habitats there are tadpoles, dragonflies, water snakes, golden carps and other species.

Smaller than we expected but the numerous interactive displays made it a great experience. Most visitors seem to hurry through, but we spent well over an hour watching all the informative videos available throughout the museum, and learned quite a bit about underwater archeology.

El museo es excelente, tiene una extensa variedad de artefactos encontrados en el fondo marino, te acerca bastante a la historia y cultura de la antigua ciudad, ademas en la parte alta cuenta con una vista increíble.
En sus alrededores se puede caminar y pasar un rato agradable entre los árboles.
Es un lugar adecuado para ir con la familia.

Excelente museo donde además de conocer la cultura de Campeche y su arquitectura de defensa, podrás obtener una de las mejores vistas de la ciudad desde uno de los puntos más altos de la ciudad, sino visitas dinos que te ha parecido.

En tu visita a Campeche no puede faltar una visita a los fuertes. El de SAn Joseé tiene una vista privilegiada de la ciudad.

Un pedazo de historia campechana, el fuerte fue restaurado completamente y abarca ahora un museo de artillería y otras armas. Es de los mejor cuidados fuertes de Campeche.

Al Norte de la ciudad de Campeche, de igual modo omo patrimonio de Campeche es Rico en Historia y Cultura, el Fuerte fue construido en el cerro (con acceso vehicular un poco dificil por la pendiente que hay que subir) para poder ver a la distancia la cercanía de las embarcaciones que se acercaban a campeche; desde luego la vista de la ciudad es espectacular y desde luego como turista tienes que visitarlo. Entrada gratuita los domingos, hay acceso para discapacitados, cuenta con un museo de barcos y armas en su interior; excelente lugar para recreación familiar
