Don't be fooled by the beautiful pictures, the service falls beyond. The music has nothing to with the atmosphere. Trip advisor says it's the most romantic place!?
This is just a cafeteria up on high not as the overall experience.
Come here for good drinks with a phenomenal view! The drinks are pricier than other places, but it is worth it for the view. Instead of buying tickets to go to the top floor, you can go to this bar for free (on the 44th floor).
Nice view of Mexico City downtown. Food is ok, liked their bread basket. Wines are not to overpriced. The place is nice, no TVs which is great. No children, not too noisy. Perfect for a quiet, comfy dinner.
I had the beef Wellington and it was delicious. The rest of my group had the pasta, soup and the appetizers were also very good. Everyone enjoyed their food. But the main attraction here are the views of the city. The drinks were ok, I did have the Electric Lemonade but I substituted whiskey for the vodka. On a hot day it was what I needed. I would recommend this place as the views are beautiful and the food is good.
The views are impeccable even if the Torre (tower) itself seems a bit outdated. The restaurant is having some construction but still managed to provide quality food and drinks with good service. The chicken consommé was incredible and the tamarind frozen margaritas were exceptional. While the Caesar salad is ceremoniously made table side with anchovy and raw egg, the Dijon mustard was a bit much for delicate cheese that was used.
Overall, this place is worth visiting just for the views but the service and food won't disappoint.
Terrible service! There must be 1 person working here for every table with customers but I had to flag someone over to take my order after waiting for some time. Then I was told they only have bottles of wine tonight, no copas despite being on the menu. I didn't want a whole bottle for myself. I found a 250ml bottle on the menu but that wasn't available either. This whole process of trying to order wine took around 15min, with different waiters coming to me, disappearing for 5min, returning to tell me they didn't have what I ordered.
So 25min in and I'm sitting with no drink. I settled with water (not complimentary). Then someone tried to take my food order even though I'd ordered through someone else already. All the wait staff were really unfriendly too. I ordered the cevice entree which was nice. The view is also great but maybe it's a good spot for a cocktail!
Ok place, food whatsoever, hostess suggested me and my wife the cheapest wine lol and didn't have artesanal beersoveralljust another restaurant
Come here for the view! It's breathtaking. The food is ok, nothing out of this world, but if you are planning on going to the viewing level, come here instead. It could save you money. Please note this place is a little fancier than the other places nearby.
Not worth at all. The view is blocked by antennas everywhere. The smog in the city blocks the horizon and you can't go to the sightseeing upstairs if you didn't get your ticket in the first floor. Food is very good, service is ok, just another restaurant in Mexico city.
Smaller than expected Camarón Panco are very good Tremendous View.
The place is awesome. The highest point in the center for a view of the city.
Stay away. We decided to come here before a show at the Opera based on pictures posted by the restaurant. You will be escorted up to the restaurant with a bunch of tourists wanting to see the view. Only noticed 3 tables that have an open view, the rest seem to be blocked by huge LED billboards. Our table was blocked by the LED (see pics). Several tables have no view at all behind the pillars. Appetizer of ceviche was ok, 2 were good and 1 tastes like old fish. Soups were good, but that is simple. Dinners are very limited in choice, there is NO MEAT on the menu. There is a section for pasta and a section for shrimp. The tableside tequila shrimp was bland and served with a pile of corn. The table next to us had papperdelle pasta dish and it was swimming in cheese sauce. Make a reservation elsewhere! I rarely post negative reviews, but this place is a waste of money (even in Pesos).
