This place and Luuma were our favorite fine dining options on the island. This place had wonderful quality and very creative dishes! We were blown away, and we wished we’d found it sooner — they were fully booked for the rest of our stay!

The food and serivce here is top. The best in Holbox and one of the best in Mexico. You will be assisted by a lovely host from Barcelona, Spain who makes the culinary experience, unforgettable.

Mind blowing flavors and innovative combinations. Impeccable presentation. You KNOW chef Alex cares. Shrimp w/hibiscus jelly👌. Tilapia with squash&apple puree. 👌👌. Modest locale. Accessible prices. Only 6 tables. Were there as walk ons after waiting 1hr, so BOOK FIRST. Worth the wait. You would NEVER imagine a place of this quality in a 2.5k people rural Mexican town.

A nice meal overall, but not the amazing experience we expected from other reviews. The starter (the sphere with aguachile) was a complete miss; a giant ice cube with an unseasoned shrimp salad inside that just ends up in a watery mess on the plate. Mains (fish and octopus) were quite nice, and dessert too (chocolate textures). Service was painstakingly slow and they brought my girlfriend's main about ten minutes after mine. Value for the price is OK as you can see that there is effort in the dishes.

Best restaurant on the island in its category and reasonably priced. Creative presentation and the chef prepares the food as if he really cares. Reserve in advance.

New Cousine Mexican.
Extraordinary good food. The dishes are nicly composed. You feel the pashion of cooking. Very kind Service and good drinks as well.
The Milpa would be glad, to see what there products become here
Never mind the bit off site location.
Prices are low, considering the quality of the dishes.
I will alwas recommend this place to everyone visiting holbox!

5 star modern Mexican food at 3 star prices. You have to book and no wonder- the food is beautiful to look at, presented with theatrical flourishes and tastes amazing.. Cash only. Good cocktails. Treat yourself.
