We stayed 4 nights. Everyday i walked in the courtyard to feel the complete joy of color, textures and ambienceboth natural and man-made. The breakfasts (included in price of room) were plentiful with an option to enjoy an omelet or breakfast taco made to order. The chef is amazing and the dinners were special events. The room was large and comfortable with luxurious modern updates that were matched to the traditional mexican decor. The hostess, Claudia, was always available to suggest shops and galleries and to draw maps. She was marvelous. All I can say is GO.

Nice little boutique hotel. Great attention and customer service. Breakfast was delicious, but the "cafe de hoya" was the best part.

We stayed in April and had a wonderful, relaxing time.

The B&B is right in the center of town (it's a short walk to the main plaza and to the arts and crafts market), but as soon as you walk through the doors you feel like you're in a private retreat. The central courtyard is full of tropical plants and an atmosphere that invites you to sit down and relax. The rooms are very clean, well-appointed and attractive. Each has it own unique personality and is decorated with traditional Mexican flair. We particularly enjoyed the beautiful stained-glass window in our bathroom.

The breakfast is served in a covered courtyard and is absolutely delicious. Great variety too.

The staff is glad to give you directions and will set up activities such as horseback riding and hang gliding if you're interested. The owner speaks very good English and is very friendly and helpful.

The hotel is ideally situated to explore the town. We drove there, but my 70-year-old father took the bus a few days later from Mexico City, and he and his girlfriend walked from the bus terminal to the hotel. It's pretty convenient. Highly recommend!

This is such a beautiful bed and breakfast. The town is so quaint, and the ambiance at Meson de Leyendas matches perfectly. How could it not, as a monastery-turned-B&B! The rooms are spacious and nice, yet with lots of Old World charm. It really is a lovely place from which to base yourself while exploring Valle.

Absolutely delightful stay at Meson de Leyendas! One of the most comfortable & beautifully decorated bed & breakfasts that I have ever stayed in. The staff are great & it is centrally located to everything. Will def be coming back.
