  Mercado portales is one of the best keept outwardly secrets of the savy "Chilango" (resident of the huge City of Mexico). For menú years I've come to their 'plomero market' Plumber's market where it's been said, that if you don't find the plumbing supplies and justabouteveryfr'kngthng4plumbers you can imagine, it has not been invented yet, hurry up and claim a patent on it!
  It shares name (Portales market) with a proper city market wher you can buy all thy wares, supplies fer thee kitch'n and in the maneuver stop by and indulge in some of the very best "tacos de carnitas* These delicacies are awe inspiring Instant love, jaw dropping, and for many, a reason to question their religion.

  This where I come for fruit and vegetables in Mexico City, they have the best prices. This is safe place for us foreigners: safe, clean, friendly, variety, quality, and cheap (did I forget that?). Wonderful experience!
