Overpriced and bad location

직원들이 그리 친절하지 않습니다. 달러 현금 결제만 된다고 해서 약간의 협상이 벌어져야 했는데, 자기 할 말만 하고 이쪽 사정을 귀담아 듣거나 불편을 이해하려는 태도가 없었습니다. 미리 리뷰를 읽은 게 있어서 와이파이가 조금이라도 더 잘 되는 방을 달라고 부탁했더니 와이파이가 다 잘 된다고 거짓말만 했고 자기네 방이 맘에 들거라며 걱정말라고만 했습니다. 귀찮아서 빨리 체크인 시키려고 서두르는 인상을 받았습니다. 그러나 하루 종일 와이파이는 되지 않았습니다. 사무실 앞에 죽치고 앉아 모기에게 뜯기면서 와이파이를 써야 했는데 그나마도 잘 안 되서 너무너무 불편했습니다. 아침도 포함되지 않고, 방에 다른 시설이 있는 것도 아니고, 뜨거운 물도 잘 안 나왔습니다. 침대도 좀 물러서 저는 개인적으로 불편했고, 옆방 소리도 새더군요. 프론트 데스크에 있는 커피도 식어서 맛이 없었습니다. 이 호텔은 제공하고 있는 것에 비해 터무니 없는 가격을 책정하고 있어 결국 불쾌해졌습니다.
좋은 점은 딱 한 가지입니다. 침대보가 깨끗하고 예쁘며 수영장을 마주 보고 있는 테라스가 있어 전체적인 분위기가 좋다는 것입니다. 수영장 앞에 공용 테이블들이 있는데 거기도 분위기가 괜찮습니다. (하지만 수영장은 수영을 할 만한 크기는 아닙니다. 그냥 모양입니다.) 호텔의 위치도 그리 나쁘지 않습니다. 선착장 바로 옆이고 중앙광장과 해변까지 걸어 갈 수 있는 거리에 있어 크게 불편한 게 없습니다. 중앙광장 쪽은 밤새 너무 시끄러워 그곳 가까이에 있는 호텔들은 소음에 시달렸을 겁니다.
좋은 건 첫 눈에 호감을 주는 외관 뿐이고 문제점은 훨씬 많은 곳입니다. 현금 결제만 고집하는 정책, 손님을 그냥 돈 벌어다주는 사람으로만 보는 것 같은 직원들의 태도, 와이파이가 되지 않는 불편함, 뜨거운 물이 잘 안 나오는 것, 그리고 방음이 안 되 옆방 소리가 그대로 들리는 것. 저는 절대 추천하지 않겠습니다. 외관에 속지 마십시오.response / report this review -

Only hotel with no beach

It is a small hotel with everything you can need for a pleasant stay. It has a small clean pool. The staff is kind and polite. The morning coffee is excellent. Close to downtown in a quiet location. Ideal for family trips.

The receptionist and staff were all friendly and helpful. However, the nightly rate was way to expensive for the quality and emmenities of the hotel. It's comparable to camping and staying in tents. You can hear word for word everything the other guests in their room are saying. We would wake up in the morning to the alarm of the guests in the room next to us. The "queen" bed was two uncomfortable twin beds next to each other. The cleaning staff left our door open so we came back to a room full of mosquitoes!! There also is not breakfast included in the expensive nightly rate. When we told the management we were not comfortable they did not offer any accommodations except checking out and paying the FULL amount of our original reservation. On the good side they do have a pool, but for the exact same price or less you can stay at a hotel on the beach.
