Awesome, not expensive. There's a good area that accepts credit cards. Fun all around with ATV's, zip lining, horseback riding, the fishing sucks because it's a small man-made lake. You can rent a small area with seating and a grill zone for $100.00 mxn. ATV'S $200 for 30 minutes. A generally cold climate area so bring a sweater.

It's a great space for eat and take a brake outside of the city away from the noise, you can enjoy the nature or even fish your own "trucha" , there are many other activities

It was amazing time there with sun and snow together.. Enjoyed horse riding and snow fall.. Breakfast was good, specially el café de olla was amazing

It's a beautiful place worth a visit. Getting there should be pretty straightforward, since you just have to take the Mexico-Toluca toll road .There's a lot of stuff to do in there, including hiking, trout fishing, horse riding, mountain bike riding, go-karts rentals and much more. It's a great place, specially if you have kids. This place provides a unique chance to enjoy the geographical beauty of Mexico. The mountains are covered with dense pine forests, one of the various natural regions of Mexico.
Warning: Due to the high elevation ≈3000 m (9840) ft, you should exercise caution, specially if you have certain medical conditions. Also, beware that temperatures are much lower than in Mexico City, so it is advisable to bring warm clothing. Weather can be unpredictable on the mountains, especially during the rainy season. This national park reminds one of European forests with fir and pine trees. trout fishing, horseback riding and small restaurants dotting the roadway.

Amazing place near Mexico City, full of wilderness, forests and heaps of activities to do. Great to go for a day or a couple. Cheap food.
