Once you arrive and go through customs, you’re basically out there to fend for yourself with multiple people directing you to talk to the “right person” who really is just trying to sell you or upsell you tours and “free” activities by invitation.

After customs, go through 3 sets of sliding glass doors and do not stop for anyone. Once you are outside of the airport, there are people with company signs and likely your name.

Departing was swift however the first duty free store you hit, have a mixture of extremely friendly sales people and really rude cashiers. There are other stores in the airport, for prices on souvenirs, AeroMarket was the best. Ie, key chains was 39 pesos where exact same at other stores was 63.

This is a nice and clean airport but it’s small and not as advanced as other airports so I am comparing it to that. However I had a very pleasant experience, I really enjoyed coming through - it was a good experience!

Very efficient arrivals and departure process. Leaving your gate, you will exit directly to baggage claim. The best meet up spot at the airport, is the bar located at arrivals level, outside the airport, next to taxi and pickup. There is a shaded seating area and waiter/waitress service.

Clean, spacious, modern. We didn't know there were two terminals though, near enough to each other but not enough info on how to get there. There are airport vans outside each terminal that can take you even though they ask for a tip when it should be voluntary since it's an airport service

Do not change your money here. Very bad exchange rate. It takes a good 20 mins to change USD 50. They fill up all sorts of nonsense into the computer.

Do not ride a taxi. They charge a lot of money and it can take up to 7 hours to get to your destination like it happened to me. I recommend the bus which is faster, secure and cheap. The restrooms are very clean though I don’t like when the people who work for the airport follow you to the restrooms and just wait there until you go out. We need to have more privacy, the airport is very small but clean, it does offer some of the best airlines you can have cheap National tickets from here, but international can get very expensive. The check points are very fast.

Small air port but efficient. Many restaurants inside while you wait for your plane. You have to walk from the tarmac to get inside and vice versa.

Good airport with decent food court anchored by a large Corona lounge. Terminal 2 is marked as international and all the US and non-mexico flights go uses this terminal. You have to pass through the duty free shop as you go through the customs. You will find local shops closer to the gates. Also has a VIP lounge which is OK.

Arriving in to Los Cabos International Airport is a bit overwhelming. When visiting for the first time, you don't know what you are doing and where you are going. You are just herded around like cattle, off the plane, on the tarmac, into the airport. Through Customs. Then checking in to find out where you go for your rental car is hell! There are people everywhere telling you whom to talk to. It's horrible! We did learn a valuable lesson, when looking for your car rental company - DO NOT TALK TO ANYONE WHO DOESN'T HAVE THAT COMPANY'S SIGN!!! Other people will try to scam you into giving you a ride to the rental car company's office. Just look for the correct company and you'll be fine! They should not allow those scamsters to stand at the airport!

Departing was a better situation. The stores in the terminal were nice, and they had a good restaurant and bar selection! Going through security was a breeze. The airport could benefit from a little better air circulation in the gate waiting area of Terminal B. I also don't care for the lack of jetway's to walk directly on to the plane. I didn't like walking down a ramp and across a hot tarmac, waiting in line for your plane in 90+ degree weather.

Small and friendly airport - there are no jetways so you have to walk to the plane - which gives a small town feel. Staff is friendly - i had an issue with forgotten baggage, and the airline staff escorted me to the back entrance, guided through the paperwork, got my baggage and out quick. Lines were small when i went and everything was smooth

This airport is very small, super clean, efficient and we had absolutely no problems checking in. The duty free shop had a ton of stuff and we scored some nice souvenir gifts. There's a Starbucks and other small places to eat it inside. Outside there are a couple bar areas where you can grab a drink.

Good enough airport with helpful staff and clean premises. The bad is when you arrive, you get assaulted ( practically) by the people from timeshare, golf club things They shouldn't allow so many

Been to domestic and international side. International side is super busy and overpriced for everything. Long TSA lines and they take your selfie stick. It's nice. The domestic side is super small but new. Easy and fast. Not too crowded as international side. The VIP lounge in the domestic side is nice and quiet, no lines and not crowded.

They give away your seats and separate you and your husband and stick each of you with a middle seat between strangers. Even though your confirmation email shows two seats together and then they were rude and basically told us oh well.

It's a fairly small airport, which is a good thing because security and customs actually goes fast. As soon as you get off the plane, with no service, you are able to get onto their WI-FI quickly and easily. No extra sign-ins. Beyond that it's really your only option in Cabo.

I fly in and out of this airport several times year and I've had it with this place. The corruption has gotten so out of hand. I have had souvenirs taken without explanation, a bottle purchased inside security confiscated. I nearly had my phone taken from me because I was carrying two phones, my work phone and my personal phone. I spend my hard earned money on buying things for my family and friends while I'm down there only to have them taken away because, "a baseball and mitt could be used as a weapon" As a vistor I am contributing to their community by buying gifts at smaller ma and pa shops, buying food and beverages, paying for transportation, hotels etc. but I will no longer be doing this. It's morally wrong to be in a position of power and take advantage of other people. It's a shame because I love Mexico but I have put in my request to avoid flying through this airport. Travelers be warned.
