We stayed at Las Palmas for 7 days.
It was a great experience with the family and friends!
Shout out to:
Juan a server at the restaurant, always with a smile and great attitude, Johnny at the bar by the Snack restaurant, very nice and patience, Guadalupe that took care of us during our pool/beach time, the one and only Eduardo at the late night bar by far the most friendly of all! and of course Johnny in charge of the pool activities at the family pool for making it fun and interactive.
Thank you all so much for being part of my incredible vacations.
There is nothing like Mexico for great service and value.
It may be one or two things to improve when it comes to the rooms, not enough towers. Only two towels per room and we were 4 in each room.
Food was beyond delicious, drinks were amazing as well. No complaints at all.
Activities were fun too!
Overall, great place to stay and relax!

Note for foreigners traveling and staying in a Mexican beach resort:
Be kind with the vendors at the beach, if you are not interested just kindly and respectfully decline. You need to adjust to the the place where you are traveling to and walking vendors at the beach are something that has always being part of Puerto Vallarta and many other beautiful beaches in Mexico. So please respect their work and their land. We are guests and they are just offering a service or product, if you are not interested just nicely let them know. We need to respect them.

Overall, I would not recommend staying at this resort.

I'll start with the positives.
1. The best thing about this place was the location. Right on the beach, chairs on the beach, drinks on the beach, which is exactly what we wanted.
2. The drinks
3. The rooms were very clean.
4. Apart from the front desk, the service was good

Negatives
1. The front desk had very bad attitudes.
2. The tried charging me $600 pesos more than what I was originally quoted on the phone for adding an extra guest, so we didn't start our vacation until an hour an half later from arguing with the front desk.
3. The food was horrible in my opinion. If you have an all inclusive plan, do the restaurant to the left of the buffet, the food is better.
4. People were reserving their chairs by the beach and pool, and then leaving for hours, which made finding a chair very difficult, and the staff didn't do anything about it despite the signs telling people not to reserve chairs. We had to sit in the sun for a while because of this, while there was a row of empty chairs with people's things on it.
5. The shower would go from extremely hot to cold in a couple of seconds, and then back again to normal temperature.

Overall, I didn't like this resort and would have paid more to go to another one, or paid less and stayed at an Airbnb.

Clean, safe and friendly. Antonio the bellman was our first impression and was an incredible ambassador for the resort. I will admit there's a few improvements this resort can make. The rooms are basic and need updating, (we had plastic lawn chairs in our suite) and the food was not restaurant quality, think more pot luck, but you will not go hungry. There's a few guests that book extended vacations over the winter and will tie up amenities (claim pool chairs, bar stools, etc. and not use them for hours, also running wait staff to the point you may be waiting a long time for service, and YES I TIPPED) taking away from other guests, but I will definitely stay here again, just maybe another time of year to avoid the entitled snow birds. The location, great staff, beautiful beach, and spotless clean pools far out weigh the minor nuisances.

We loved las Palmas! I was SO concerned leading up to the trip because this resort definitely has mixed reviews. We literally had an amazing time here!!! The food was spectacular, the rooms were super clean and the overall hotel was clean too. I don’t know what the other review said about smokers being everywhere, I never smelled one cigarette while at the resort. The staff was friendly and accommodating to our requests for an extra room key / help with excursions and taxis / help with upgrading room, etc. I highly recommend this resort. The view is incredible!!!

Horrible experience. It's all inclusive but definitely not a fun hotel. Can't have speakers with your own music or fun at all. They have open bar but please don't throw up in the room because they will charge an additional $550 to clean what you already tried to clean even though it's not in their terms you signed. Don't ask for extra towels or anything because they act like it is impossible. If you want a fun, relaxing weekend find a better hotel.
