  Delicious ice cream and baked goods. It gets crowded. The sit down area is cool as they kept it old style. Very affordable prices.

  This amazing restaurant and ice cream place was amazing. I went there with my family and friends and everyone loved it. I really enjoyed the service that came quickly and the vanilla ice cream was amazing. I wish I could go more often but I was on vacation. 5/5 would go again.   Small space for such a traditional and touristic venue, so the waiting list is for at least 30mins. Don't take cards, just cash. Waitresses not smiley. Cappuccino pricey and very small.

  Skip the food, you can do better in another place but DO visit the candy shop, they have great Mexican candy.

  Comfortable chairs in a very casual and vintage atmosphere. High ceilings make it feel cool and quiet. The clients are older and everyone talks in hushed tones. Coffee is strong and delicious. Plates are just the right size. Fresh bread with breakfast is hot and crusty; right from the ovens. This is one of my favorite spots that take you back to another time.

  One of the best and most traditional places in Querétaro. If you are downtown Queretaro, you must stop for a traditional milkshake and some pineapple tart. Just be patient, the place is usually crowded - a sign that the place is awesome.

  The main selling point of this place is that it "hasn't been changed in 75 years!" the problem is that it's not charming.
  + decent food
  + history?
  - overpriced!
  - mediocre service
  - fairly ugly
  - no wifi
  
  Try cafe del fondo for rustic interior, food that costs half as much, and better service.

  The food was good by Mexico standards. It was prepared with care and neatly served. The cafe itself needs some work as the wood cabinets have seen better days. The disappointing part of this visit was the manager. She was very rude to her staff, yelling at them in front of the guests. When she came to take our order we ordered drinks and asked her to come back for our food order. She said "order now, I don't have time to waste with you, I'm busy" she then proceeded to sit behind the register and sneer at the waitresses. I suggest tourists find another place.
