I don’t understand the people raving about this place, must be Americans without a clue about Méxican food and service. I’ve visited México four times now and half a dozen cities and hundreds of restaurants. This place does not have good food. What’s more the service is atrocious.

I came in on a Wednesday afternoon when the place was empty and ordered a tapa, a charcuterie board and three tacos. My tapa came and was fine, then the charcuterie board with some dry stale bread (they rave all about how it’s made in house from only the finest pigs or whatnot). Then I waited 25 minutes for my three tacos. Finally the waiter asked “oh did you still want the tacos?” Five minutes later the tacos did not come and I just asked for a bill.

To top it off the waiter presumed I would be giving them a 15% tip, and I corrected him to a 10% tip which is more typical of how Mexicans tip.

My Mexican friends were quick to remind me the place is not good and that I had just wasted both my time and money, but that I should leave a review because this kind of place preys on gringos.

International cuisine fusion with mexican and Spanish traditional dishes. Live muisic. The resautant is located on the cental patio of an hisroric house. It has a museum on the 2nd floor.

Really such an amazing place. Went on Wednesday for dinner and it's well staffed. Staff was attentive. Ordered paella and beer and paella was scrumptious. I have been in Mexico for over a week and got tired of tacos, etc. Found out their craft beer was created in Vancouver where i am from. The ambiance was fantastic. Would definitely recommend this place to anyone.
