Kinky bar is one of my favorite places to visit in Mexico City. This lively gay bar has some of the funniest drag queens, cutest bar tenders, and funnest crowds in CDMX.

I am an English speaker visiting the area. I clearly ordered una bebida de Smirnoff con sprite and was given absolute raspberry with sprite and a can of red bull on the side. Not sure how that was lost in translation. When the mistake was realized by staff they still proceeded to charge me for the red bull and extra for the flavored vodka. Instead of an “I’m sorry for the mistake” they should have taken action to correct it not just expect me to drink it and pay.

Went here on a Friday night, it got busy after 11pm. First level first with karaoke and latino music bar. At 11:30 they opened roof terrace with more dancey music. Excellent ambiance, really busy and friendly staff. Many drink beer in large styrofoam glasses and chilli jam around it. So some have chilli jam on their back as the evening moves on. Topless (wannabe) gogo boys. If weather permits, they open the roof which is refreshing. Music is loud.

In my opinion, it is a place really small and too crowded. You need to buy a bottle to have a sit. There is no place to do nothing. The beer is not good, neither the cocktails

Good music. Fun people. Cute bar staff. A few different atmospheres. A place to smoke outside and hot gogo dancers sometimes. What more does a gay bar need.
