WARNING! DO NOT BOOK AND PAY FOR THIS TRIP IN ADVANCE.!!! We had to cancel our trip to Mexico because my father was dying. We told her 3 weeks in advance we have to cancel the trip and they refused to refund our money. We were a group of four and they took our money, even with 3 weeks heads up. DO NOT BOOK AND PAY FOR THIS IN ADVANCE, it doesnt matter how much of a heads up you give they will keep all of your money.

Heidi and Joel are an amazing couple dedicating their retirement to caring for and protecting the critically endangered Spider Monkey species. This is not a commercial tour like others you will see advertised, instead you step into the home and lives of these two remarkable people and their current 89 monkey residents. If you care about nature and conservation do not hesitate to book as this is a wonderful experience. Plan ahead as visits are limited and restricted.

We visited on a family vacation . We has 5 grown children 23-28 and this was the highlight of the trip . Heidi and husband made us feel like family . The Monkeys were very friendly and explored all over us .

We went to a place at this exact location on Google maps with a Jungle Place sign outside. We were told that it is not open to the public and never has been. Not sure why other reviews state otherwise.

Everybody at the Jungle Place are wonderful people who truly do it all for the monkeys. Their facilities are well maintained and the monkeys are well taken care of.

The Monkey Place was definitely the highlight of my trip to Cancun, what an incredible experience. The love they have for their monkeys and the work they are doing to save them is awe-inspiring. If you find yourself in the area, I would definitely recommend!

Wow what an incredible experience!!! I brought my entire family (wife, 3 kids, and grandparents). This is a must do on your trip. To be able to sit inside the room with monkey's climbing all over you is a once in a lifetime experience. Also the work Heidi is doing to save and save spider monkeys is truly inspiring.

Everything about this experience was wonderful! Heidi and her husband were so pleasant and fun. They have truly dedicated their lives to saving these monkeys. The monkeys were friendly and so cute! We had a blast!

The experience you gain at the jungle place is totally priceless and amazing and totally unforgettable. It touches your heart to interact with the monkeys and to see the type of work and commitment that is taking place to care for these endangered monkeys.
I recommend anyone and everyone to visit and take the opportunity to meet Heidi and her husband and monkeys
You will never forget or regret visiting
It is such a amazing experience and we will return every time we visit Mexico because of the personal connections we gained
