My friend and I flew into Mexico City, took a bus to Puebla then took another bus to Tlachichuca in an attempt to satisfy our thirst for mountaineering. With no reservation, we stumbled upon this magnificent hostel. We were welcomed with open arms, given cozy beds and delicious meals. If anyone is looking to climb Pico De Orizaba, this is your starting point! For an incredibly reasonable price they offer guided services for summiting the tallest peak in North America! However, Pico De Orizaba is ever increasing in popularity and it is best that you make a reservation to guarantee services. Thank you so much Joaquin and Maribel for everything. See you again soon!
