Surprising to find a getaway like this so close to cdmx. Nearly all of the roadside ranches have the same activities to spend the day relaxing. You might even prefer to not do any and go enjoy the cool weather and peaceful surroundings.

Una buena opción para pasar el domingo en familia. Desde quienes se van a las motos, hasta quienes van a caminar o a montar en los caballos y a comer unas quesadillas o un buen caldo de médula. Clima generalmente húmedo y fresco.

A fun place for everyone if you have 1 free day in Mexico. I recommend the restaurant "El Venado". Great local food, you can fish your trout and you can get it cocked in at least 10 different ways. Appetizers and mains are great too. Prizes are good but be mindful that most places including this restaurant don't take debit nor AMEX cards. After lunch you can drive 500m to a small valley to ride horses or motorcycles. Be VERY careful with the toys! Locals tend to underestimate the risk but if careful, you will have lots of fun. Look for the horses Coqueta and Muchacho :-)
