I booked a suite with a kitchen months in advance. When I arrived I was bumped to a substandard sister property for a nite. Once back at Refugio there was no kitchen in the room nor communal shared kitchen. There was a communal microwave. No couch or sitting area in the room. It had a loft bed. At night it was noisey I had one good night sleep in a week. Expedia did not help me resolve any concerns nor did the hotel address the booking shortfalls. I did not get what I reserved and paid for. The staff spoke spanish only. Theyvcould not jelpbresolve booking problems. No one else came forward after complaints to resolve them. The business is listing kitchen ammeneties and couches and accepting payment for them when none is available.. I could hear people in the next room as of they were sitting on my bed. Also party goers in the middle of the nite when the bars close at 3:30 am waiting for rides outside the window. I was so exhaused from my visit I became sick. Very unhappy with the 'business operation' of Refugio. The house keeping and night staff were very kind.

Buen lugar ubicado a tres cuadras la catedral, la señal de internet muy bueno, la tv aunque tiene servicio de cable no tiene recepción, no se ven los canales, las habitaciones limpias. Hay otras opciones mas baratas y con el mejor servicio. No recomendable.

Lamentablemente no es el lugar que esperas para descansar ,realizamos una reservación ,cuando llegamos ya la habían entregado, nos dieron la habitación numero 1 ,donde la puerta principal esta toda rota ,apolillada ,sin seguridad para tus pertenencias ,la persona que atendió el día 23 de agosto por la noche ,sin interés alguno por el buen servicio ,claro esta que no es su negocio.
3 Dias después de habernos hospedado ,nadie nos puede resolver sobre nuestra factura ,la encargada se va a comer y ya no regresa ,es el colmo.
Esperaría que el dueño(s),pusiera atención no solo en los buenos comentarios ,si no en las quejas de los clientes.

Muy bien ubicado en pleno centro de la ciudad, cuentan con servicio de estacionamiento. La habitación muy confortable, limpia y muy amplia, quedé sorprendido por el espacio interior. La decoración y iluminación crea ambientes muy románticos.

Un buen lugar para pasar la noche. Excelente servicio. Solo necesitan poner ventiladores para las habitaciones. Ayudará tanto al calor como los mosquitos.

The rooms are very clean and comfortable. The hot water is great and water pressure is too. Wifi is fast, but it doesn't reach to all of the rooms.

I stayed in room 5. Despite its 20 steps to reach it, it is worth it, spacious, clean, lots of windows. Very large shower with lots of hot water. Double bed is very good. No closet but large coat stand which was adequate. Very pleasant staff and charming lobby entrance. Excellent value for the price.
