Great hotel with very friendly staff with many people who speak English. There are 3 restaurants with nice selection. The bar and lounge area is very nice
The outdoor pools are absolutely beautiful.
You will be located in the heart of the tourist district with lots to do. A great place to stay!response / report this review -

Very nice room. Not a bad price. Request the beach view otherwise your view will not be inviting. The seafood buffet is great. Great location. Staff is friendly.

They hotel is recently renovated, it really changed since the last time I visited several years ago. The rooms are really nice, they are big and with all the amenities, also every single one of them has a balcony. It has three pools and two very good restaurants. The only down side I had is that one of the streets is located gets very busy, and if you have a room facing one of them, you'll hear a lot of noise even on the night. My recommendation get top floor or rooms facing the port.

I went to the buffet in Hotel Emporio Veracruz, everything from the ambientation, service and food were awesome. I really enjoyed my time with my friends in there.

Unbeatable location for tourists going for the first time to Veracruz. Great bed and linings with reading lights and 24hrs room service.
In-room coffee maker needs to be change and I don't get why they serve Chiapas coffee beans when you're in Veracruz and been upstairs from one of the best coffee places of the world.response / report this review -

Very nice hotel. Standard amenities and very nice pool and restaurants attached. The shower takes 10 minutes to get even remotely warm though. Housekeeping ignores your do not disturb sign and enters your room.

the hotel was just fantastic. I had a prestige room with harbor view that was stunning. The food in both of the big restaurants is great and the staff is extremely attentive. In the evening you can hang out on the deck on the 9th floor or at the bar. Since its location is right in the town center, its easy to stroll around to explore. It also seems like a very safe place. All in all I would stay there again.

I just spent two weeks at the Emporio. The best part my visit was the time I spent with the bar staff. By the time I left I was on a first time with the bartenders and the bar wait staff. Armando, Joaquin and Martin were the senior bartenders, but Lorenzo Herrera was my favorite. He was very funny and a friend with all his co-workers. In fact, the entire bar staff worked supporting each other. Ericka, Lucia, Manolo, Bryan, Carolina, Julia Luiz and Edith were hard working servers. Everyone was friendly and conversive. I can't wait for my next visit. The bar staff made me feel like family. The staff arranged a special dessert the night before I flew back to the EU. I miss the friends that I made in the Emporio bar. Hotel Emporio is probably the best place to stay in Veracruz in your vacations or work travel. They had a great service and amazing rooms.
