1 hour waiting for my turn when usually takes less than 30 minutes.
Doctors give priority to patients they personally know, even if they arrived later than me.response / report this review -

My mom almost died. Survived because I got her out of this place. If you have no insurance better not go. Will ask for payment ahead of doing any procedure, test, labwork, even during an emergency!. I did not know this, they did not advice until my mom was just sitting there and I had no idea I had to pay ahead! Which I was able to do but very poor communication from the doctors and staff. De. Zatarain attended her. Really got offended at me for asking questions about what was going on. Had a superiority attitude of "I'm the doctor" they left my mom in a room past a cleaning closet where one "nurse" covering the whole floor. Can't express enough how bad this is, I showed up at my mom's room and she was shaking in pain and nobody even knew. No monitoring equipment. You are requested to stay overnight because you are the night watch.

My husband and I and many of our friends have been to the Almatar hospital to see a GP and surgeons on several occasions. Have never had such wonderful care in Canada or the U.S. Thank you Diana and Mercedes!

I have been looking for a registered certified cosmetic/ recontruccion plastic surgeon in Mexicali for a while now. Any suggestions will be me tremendous. Question for Sleeve surgeon, do you preformed surgeries in different hospitals in Mxicali?

This hospital is clean & professional. Most of the staff is bilingual. Doctors & nurses don't wear blue jeans & sweatshirts like in the U.S. but rather uniforms which are clean & pressed.
My stay there was as good as it could be considering I was having surgery. I believe they are as up to date as any U.S. hospital.
The day of my surgery & the day after my doctors checked on me 3-4 times each day. They did not send a nurse to check on me but came themselves.
I never rang my call button once while there as the nurses were always right there checking on me.

Fantastic physicians, emergency personnel, lab and X-ray personnel. Nursing care was the most inattentive that I have ever seen.

I took my wife there for a ct scan, they helped us immediately. The staff was prompt and very professional. The hospital was modern and spotless. The cost was unimportant, but was probably 1/4 of what it would have been in the States.
There was no waiting, they took care of us promptly. They have excellent doctors and specialists.
I would not hesitate to use them again.response / report this review
