I travel thru this airport bjx. I never had bad experience. Yes there's a good restaurant. On the 2nd floor and other's on the main terminal.

After more than 20 years of flying, I can say this is the worst airport experience you can ever get and imagine. The check-in line takes 3 hours for like 25 people. The staffs are lazy and don't know how to use the computer. They stop the service for coffee and conversations with their coworkers. The food is expensive and badly preserved. Be careful with the gate change of the flights, because they are not telling you, and there is no updated screen at the gates. You can very easily miss your flight. I was there for 6 hours and witnessed 4 flights delayed..

I was there yesterday. Check in went well, but the waiting area was awful. The shop had absolutely no water to sell. What kind of an airport doesn't have water to sell!? Not going to drink it from the bathroom sink, which is what they said to do. No place to buy any food either. No wifi either.

A small airport with a lot of contributions things going on. They have some really high prices for international flights, but for National flights they have some good prices. They’re not a lot of airlines working in this airport so don’t expect a lot of low prices. The airport is clean and the restrooms smell good and also they are clean. Check points are fast, and they are not a lot of waiting lines to board the plane. Also the food in the airport is really good and prices are very reasonable I definitely recommend stopping here. Though is the only airport in the state of Guanajuato. But it’s be good to expand the airport a little bit more it’s kinda small

Small airport, not many flight options. Staff at AeroMexico is very rude and not willing to assist or put in any effort to assist their customers. Especially now that all Delta flights are being handled by AeroMexico at this airport. Very disappointed.

It's a decent airport, everything works ok, free wifi, no good place to eat after you go through security.

I've traveled to the airport several times since 2009 and had no problems.
Of course Spanish is the national language throughout Mexico, so I would suggest English speaking travelers in the country prepare themselves with a few words of Spanish to expedite the check in services at the boarding desk.response / report this review -

Nice airport. No lines if you are flying abroad with American. Flights within Mexico seem like a major hassle. There was a monstrous line up snaking around the hall.
