An excellent place to have a snack near Palacio de Bellas Artes! The churros were great, as well as the hot chocolate!

This place churns out churros and hot chocolate as fast as you can order it. We ordered French and Spanish hot chocolate with churros and some Cafe. The French hot chocolate was delicious but light. The Spanish hot chocolate was thick and creamy, perfect for dipping. The staff was very warm and inviting.

A small restaurant open to the sidewalk with excellent ceviche tostadas. We didn't eat anything else on the menu but everything looked great. The ceviche was any combination of fish, crab, and octopus, with diced onion, tomato, a bit of chili, tomato, and lime juice. Very fresh and refreshing, and went well with a Corona. Excellent, friendly service, and patient with my very poor Spanish.

Excellent hot chocolate, tacos and tasty torta con mole. The churros are my least favorite of all the items there. Service is fast and the line is quick.

Very nice place where you can taste the traditional churros, sugar or cinnamon. You can also try different types of chocolates, for example the Mexican or Spanish style. These delicacies can be enjoyed in the place or you can also ask for them to take away. They accept cash and credit card.

Original location of the famous churros and hot chocolates of Mexico City. Very old school compared to the newer locales.

It was cool. Long, long lines. Make sure you get in the right line if you want take out. Left for dine in. I got 4 churros and a "French hot chocolate". Would love to try the other flavors of hot chocolate.

For churros, you're better off going down the street to the vendors in the park for cheaper, warmer, softer, churros.

Great fresh churros, we found a lot of places in Mexico pre made their churros and they were chewy and disappointing. Not this place! The prices were decent too. What more could you ask for.

We waited in line for about 20 minutes around 6pm. The churros were good, but I didn't think they were anything special. They were super cheap though. About $1 USD for 4 churros.

The best Churros in town. They are always fresh, warm and crispy. They have two types of sugar toppings - White sugar and White sugar with cinnamon. Definitely try out their chocolate dip with Churros (you will find dips at the end of their menu). They also have many chocolate drink varieties that pair superbly with their Churros. I personally love Mexicano and Francés. They also have a great selection of milkshakes and a decent American Coffee.

Dessert stop that is not to be missed. Massive churros with excellent hot chocolate to be dipped in, and cheap to boot. If there's a line for takeout, try the table service - - there is usually space, and you get to enjoy your dessert sitting down.

A traditional place to eat churros. It is a must-visit for tourists and locals. The variety of hot drinks and churros and bread hasn't changed in decades. It offers a sweet stop while shopping or a visit to enjoy a dessert in one of the most iconic places of the historical center.
I personally like the Spanish Cocoa drink and a good churro.
Prices are reasonable and the place is often very busy.

They're ok. Not the best I've had. The French chocolate was WAY too sweet.

This place has the worst service I experienced in Mexico City! We waited in line for 40 minutes and I ordered a single consuela. It took them over 20 minutes after I ordered it to go and paid only for them to tell me they didn't realize I ordered one. I counted 12 people that got their orders in line while I waited and they said it was coming even though they thought we were just waiting on my girl friends. After another 5-10 minutes they came out with the wrong order, I got my money back, and I risked missing my flight. If you want to avoid infuriatingly incompetent staff to keep getting your order wrong and wasting an hour of your day then I strongly suggest steering clear of el moro.

Churros are hands down my favorite delicacy in Mexico and this place has the best in the city. Churros with whichever dressing you choose and the milkshakes are good too!
