Don't do it! Unless you like feeling ripped off. Over promised, under delivered. Mostly gimmicks to get you to book. The dolphin experience was wonderful but most everything else about the experience was disappointing/ infuriating. We were told it would take 3 hours and there would be a high speed 20 minute boat ride. After the dolphin experience we found out how things really operate here. There was no boat ride available and as a substitute we got to feed a camel one carrot stick very underwhelming. They also conveniently time the buffet lunch with the departure of the first shuttle at 1:15. The next shuttle isn't until 3:15. So if you want to eat the lunch you paid for you get to twiddle your thumbs for a coupe extra hours. BTW there was ample time to eat after the dolphins over and hour. I got the distinct impression that they would rather have everyone leave, which everyone that came with us in the shuttle did (13 people, 4 parties). That way they don't have to feed you. Very inconvenient.

The experience was good but transportation was bad. We came from our resort about 10-15 minutes away to Dolphin Discovery but the transportation afterwards was through Cabo Expert and that wasn't good. For some reason the transportation person at Dolphin Discovery put us on the Cabo Expert vehicle different from how we arrived. The driver took us to downtown Cabo about 30 minutes out our way to drop off others and then expected us to wait another 20 minutes for additional pick ups. We asked to go immediately to our resort and he refused. We took a cab to our resort another $45(with tip)and all said and done it was an hour and half wasted. I was pretty disappointed!!!!!!!!

Amazing experience! We did the "royal swim" package which allowed us to ride camels and do more things with the dolphins. I recommend it since you get more time with the dolphins and get to do some amazing tricks with them. As everyone else has said, the prices for pictures are crazy!! $360 for 404 pictures of my family of 7. It is based on how many are in your party. Luckily, we 7 split the cost among ourselves. But we got a DVD of the pictures (which we are going to try to put on Google Drive) and 7 prints (6x10 I believe).

Dolphins were fun to swim with and were very well trained. The 15 min speed boat ride and camel loop for about 1 min were also fun.
Our driver was 20 min late to pick us up which made us do activities in an oddball order. They also claimed a kayak experience but we didn't get to ride kayaks because "they didn't have paddles". So a bit of a bait and switch. Buffet food was also not good at all.
The real issue with this place is the photo racket they are running. Their prices are far beyond ridiculous and they will not even allow you to bring your own camera to take your own pictures. Because our driver was late to pick us up we did activities out of order. Then they wanted to charge us even more for pictures after we finished all the activities because they had already made a DVD of the first activities we did and didn't want to include photos of the rest of the activities. All in all they were trying to charge us $200 for around 100 pictures. This is far beyond reasonable so we ended up buying nothing at all.response / report this review -

Awesome experian's. The dolphins were amazing and well trained. Does that were friendly and knowledgeable. The only reason I'm giving it 3 stars is because they charge so much for pictures and they do not let you have any electronic devices on you to record the occasion. At the time they were charging $47 for an individual picture, $100 for a family picture, and $260 for all pictures the photographer took. I deducted another star because I bought included a camel exhibit and boat ride bit were cancelled without compensation due to weather.

First the bad: the cost up front doesn't include any of the extras that you HAVE to pay for. Completely robbery! Especially if you've been "gifted" the tickets, nothing is included besides the shuttle from your hotel. The buffet wasn't the best and the food was actually cold. The people working the store were rude beyond measure if you didn't fluently speak Spanish. If you only spoke a bit, they then spoke to you as if you were a child. They didn't answer questions that were asked in English, they looked at me and ignored it completely.
The good: the dolphins are beautiful and their trainers were very knowledgeable and nice when it came to questions and learning about the mammals.
More bad: The kayaks were a joke, I'm almost certain they were used just to kill 6 minutes. The camels, also a joke. Pay all this money for a 35 second ride and then get to feed them but if you want to keep that memory of riding/feeding camels you have to purchase the pictures for an outrageous price of $40 USD a person.
More good: the speed boat was a blast but becoming airborne and then slamming into the seat and kinking my back wasn't something I wasnt expecting. Had I not been holding on for dear life to my seat and my husband, I would've gone overboard because they do not warn you of the "possibility" of surfing a wave at 45mph.
Overall, yes a 1 star is sufficient because I cannot give it 0.response / report this review -

Staff are great, friendly, helpful and will answer all questions no matter how silly. This was my first dolphin experience and it was amazing! The pictures came out great! Loved this experience!

The dolphin swim adventure was very enjoyable. There were numerous opportunities to per the dolphin, swim with it and even be pushed by one. The downside is that this place is very overpriced. You are not able to take your own photos of this wonderful activity. A DVD of photos will set a family of 4 back $220. That is a complete rip off in my opinion. There should be options to purchase some of the photos for a lower price. Also the restaurant on site has terrible food. The boat ride which is included is very short as well.

We really enjoyed the two dolphin experience. Our trainer was terrific and the dolphins were amazing. I could believe that they actually pushed my 300+ frame completely out of the water!
It's a once in a lifetime experience and they definitely like to take advantage of that with the price of the photos. Expect to pay around $200 for your photos. WAY OVER PRICED. We went on the ATV rides in Cabo and it was $30 for the same amount of photos on a DVD.
Cruisers be warned!!!!! They said that they included a speed boat and meal as part of the package, but that all of a sudden disappeared at the end of the dolphin experience. When our group complained they said it was a time issue but miraculously they got another group from the ship there, through the dolphin experience and back to the ship after our group left. The guy just didn't want to pay for another bus to get us all back to the ship. Very shady. I told the guy that I would submit an account of this but he didn't seem concerned. Be warned!
I would recommend going with the dolphin experience in the harbor. It looks very clean, professional, and it is very convenient off the ship. I give this a 3 star purely based on the dolphins and our trainer who were great.response / report this review -

Dolphins are kept in small sectioned off pools. They didn't seem too sad about it. However it bummed out a bit. The adjoining bar has gross food and poor service. Order a beer so they can't mess it up.

Dolphin encounter and swim was a great, the instructor was very informative and pleasant but the photos are overpriced, yet they do not allow you to take your phone or camera so one is stuck with the only option to purchase photos that look like a 3 year old took them. Most are clipped off not centered to the subject plus even after paying for some print outs that would be professionally edited they looked horrible, after asking them to try fix it one more time they were hesitant and the sales guys stated cannot be fixed right away he never consulted the guys in the back office making the printouts. Why advertise for professional photography and display fake beautiful images that you cannot replicate? Sad we are left with a cd of crappie images.
