Decent pricing, good food. They need to improve attention to customers. It looked like we were just one more in a group. Who cares. Food was good though it need to be improved a little bit. More alternatives? I don't like appetizers, what else do you have?

We came early to see the Sunset and even though it was a little cloudy it was gorgeous. The food was amazing, the staff is really friendly and courteous. Overall a very nice experience!

Such a great choice. We ordered the lobster and shrimp fajitas. They were delicious. Need to come back to order all of the crab / lobster dishes. Was a great choice.

The food is excellent. I tried the crab cake and it is excellent. Real crab, good size and excellent sauce on the side. I then tried the jumbo shrimps with coconut.. Delicious. Though this is a sweet (not salty) dish. My wife tried the fish of the day, with a creamy lemon sauce. That was an excellent dish. The price, for such a place, was very reasonable (less than a hundred dollars). I will be going back.

I would like to start this off by saying that the atmosphere and the food at the Crabhouse was great, but I am so disgusted by the shady staff that I've decided to rate this restaurant as 1 star. I went to this restaurant for dinner with my boyfriend, mother, and father. The restaurant atmosphere was really nice and we sat on the outside deck overlooking the water. It was a really nice view and it was very clean. I will say that most prices were fair for a higher scale seafood restaurant, however I think that the staff lies and is deceitful when giving you prices. Before ordering, my boyfriend asked our waiter what the market price for an order of king crab legs. Our waiter told him $18.80 USD for an order. Our waiter SPECIFICALLY told us USD!! I know this because I heard my boyfriend's question and waiter's response, even confirming by asking myself, "USD? $18.80 American dollars?" To which he confirmed. Needless to say, when our check came to almost $400, my family and I were very confused. There was barely any outside lighting and the waiter had to come over to show us the check with a flashlight. We were a little taken aback, but just figured we'd drank more than we thought (we were drinkinh higher end vodka). We did not think much more of it, paid the bill, left a 20% cash tip, and went back to our hotel. The next morning we all had sort of a weird feeling that something did not add up from the night before. After being able to actually read the check in proper lighting with google translate (we do not speak Spanish), we were really disgusted to find out some huge lies from our waiters at the Crabhouse. The king crab legs (that the waiter swore were $18.80 USD) ended up being 1800 PESOS which is almost $100 USD. RIDICULOUS considering my boyfriend and I both asked our waiter to confirm the USD price multiple times . But it gets better! We also found out that our lovely waiters added the tip to our bill and let us tip in cash ON TOP OF the $400 bill. He watched us sign our receipt and put a cash tip as well and said nothing. As someone who worked in restaurants for 7+ years, never would I except such shady things to be done. If he would have been a decent and moral person, letting us know the tip was already included, I would have thrown him $20 for being honest. I'm just really disgusted by the whole experience and it really put a terrible taste in my mouth about this restaurant. I would never go back and would advise others to steer clear as well. If you do decide to go, be very wary!!!

Had fish with capers. Very good. Reasonably priced wines available. Also had mussels interesting large mussels kind of served like oysters Rockefeller. Will try the oysters next time. Lots of good seating outside with lagoon view. Service was very attentive.
Crab looks good to since that is their specialty. Romantic setting for a sunset dinner.

Delicious and fresh seafood. Professional service and great view of the sea. However definitely not a bargain even with North American standards. It is a good spot to unwind after a day of swimming.

The view on the balcony was great and the service was fine, but the food just wasn't very good. The lobster was bland and overcooked, the stuffed mushrooms were in a tomato sauce that tasted like Campbell's tomato soup, but the asparagus was cooked and seasoned well. We had Fred's just next door the night before and it was one of the best meals we've ever had. We got more food there, it tasted significantly better, the service was phenomenal, and it overall less expensive.

Was given the impression that the water was free table water yet when the bill arrived it was the equivalent of £6.50; that's just a joke. The food was tasteless and the prices! Astronomical for what it was! Wouldn't recommend

We shared the oysters and the seafood combo plate. The food and environment here is absolutely amazing!! A little expensive but the food and service was definitely worth it.

Terrible chef. Seafood Paella was anything but paella! Other seafood dishes had no taste. I'm only giving 2 stars because the service was excellent and the location directly on the lagoon. Maybe it's a good place to have a drink watching the sunset but would recommended to eat somewhere else.

Had an outside evening table ready for 6 in no time, we all loved the entire atmosphere and staff. We shared 3 appetizers before our main course, but the portions were so large we could barely finish dinner! We had complimentary snacks prior as well, beautiful view during the night and everything had a 10/10 taste to it. Very fancy with hangers meant for purses and dishes i've never seen before, the restroom had small towels to dry hands with and very cool AC indoors thank goodness! Even an attached building to entertain children post-meal. We heard great things before we arrived and I was still wowed in the end, will definitely visit again hopefully soon!!!

Service is very good. However, this place is overpriced. You can go to better and cheaper seafood restaurants in Cancun. The location is pretty good and the terrace is really nice.

The best evening of dining during my 6 night stay in Cancun. We enjoyed a beautiful view outside on the deck while dining and an attentive staff treated us like family. Guillermo (our waiter) was pleasant and knowledgeable. A little more expensive than the restaurants around there and worth every penny. Elegant and relaxing dining experience. Surf or turf and wide variety of wines and cocktails.

Highly recommended place to dine. They greeted us with a warm welcome sat us at the perfect table. The serves and waiters were on point. Their english was good and very accommodating with request. One of their crowd drawers is their pet crocodile. They entertained the guest by feeding it. But their best crowd drawer was the amazing view of the perfect sunset. So get your cameras ready. The food was delicious and the proportions were perfect. Just alittle on the pricey side but the experience was worth it. They surprised me with a serenade and a cheesecake for my birthday and we didn't even ask for it. Love Love the Crab House. Oh the wet clothes were unique. It looked like a pill/tablet that they poured warm water on to swell to a tall cloth to wipe your hands with. A very nice touch.
