We were absolutely delighted to stumble across this place on a walk through Chetumal.
Really friendly and helpful staff (who also spoke great English), great laid-back atmosphere, fantastic coffee and a great selection of teas, nice decor too. A café that wouldn’t be out of place in Brooklyn, Hoxton, Melbourne or maybe tucked away on a Mexican side street :-)
They also had a really impressive selection of quality beers from around the world (Belgian Grand Cru anyone?) although unfortunately it was a little early in the day for us to get started on those the food menu looked nice, too.
To top it off, the barista even helped us to arrange our taxi to Bacalar and walked us to the taxi rank 2 blocks away! One of the nicest people we’ve met on our travels.
Overall, definitely worth the 10-15 min walk from the ferry terminal to get here
