It's one of the few theaters that cater to mostly arthouse indie tastes. For that alone I recommend this theater.
The building itself isn't much in the way of looks. It's kind of shabby really. Pretty standard all-around. The main reason to visit is the movies you'll not easily find at other theaters.
The only other point of interest lies outside of the theater itself as it's located right in front of the beautiful "Diana la Cazadora" fountain.response / report this review -

The location is good but the facilities are a bit run down. After the last night show, they close the main entrance and the exit is through the parking lot.

It's OK, kind of a grubby entrance. There are nicer cinemas, in Polanco, for example.

It's well located and the discounted prices (for students, on Wednesday and matinees) are great. It doesn't open as early as others but it's always a good option, plus they have the cine arte roo where they show film festival pieces

Clean installations and attentive staff Most American movies are in English with Spanish subtitles. Very few are dubbed.

This Cinépolis has probably seen some better days. The entrance seems a bit claustrophobic and old, but oh well the theaters are quite the similar as in any other Cinépolis and I'm pretty sure the movies are the same 😉

This place is not 'swank'. Whomever wrote the profile does not know what the word means. Beyond that, fairly nice and cozy movie theatre facing the Dianne the hunter fountain sculpture which booty was once covered by shamed conservatives 😬. Now the place is a haunt for liberals and bohemians and has a good arts vibe ✌️✌
