Huauchinango is a beautiful little town. It seems to be the hub of the surrounding area. The town has a strong indigenous character especially during festivals. I think it’s well-worth a visit during any festival as you can get a real sense of what the region has to offer. The local markets always have very fresh fare and are exceptionally well-priced. The locals offer a wide selection of fruits and vegetable not commonly seen elsewhere. I always enjoy finding new, undiscovered foods. The inside of the market has a few excellent taco stands that are worth the visit. I highly recommend trying some of the local salsa with chiltipin, especially the peanut chiltipin sauce. It’s spicy, but delectable!

Es un buen lugar en que se realizan actividades integradoras ya sea entre semana o los fines de semana, por las noches cuando la plaza está sola el juego de luces con las palmeras otorga una vista agradable.

Pueblo mágico. En invierno esta espectacular con la niebla. Lo que hay que tomar en cuenta es la ruta de llegada, curvas con bajadas y subidas agudas, indispensable frenar con motor.

Es un lugar muy tranquilo, sus lugares cercanos son atrayentes a todo tipo de público. Este pueblo mágico definitivamente logrará que te enamores de él. Desde sus paisajes, la calidad de su gente, su cultura y tradiciones.

Es uno de los pueblos mágicos más bellos! El centro cuenta con un gran jardÃn de estilo barroco, con kiosko, y una fuente central. A su vez la explanada del Palacio municipal está pegada al jardÃn, formando todo el conjunto del centro, cuenta un asta bandera, graderÃas y una monumental fuente de colores directa en piso, en la que suelen meterse los niños por diversión y se realizan eventos de luz y sonido.
