This was definitely the highlight of my trip! Rappelling was amazing and the ziplines were so much fun!
We had an enjoyable couple of hours at Cenote Maya Park. The food was good and plentiful. Rappelling down into the cenote was one of the most memorable parts of our vacation. The water is a little cold, but it was a neat experience. I'm sure we will go again.
Cool cenote that you rappel into. The water is crystal clear. The food was OK too.
Looks amazing but ended up not going in as it was too expensive.
The Cenote (meaning sinkhole) was a fun excursion. Apparently all privately owned by the remaining indigenous Mayan people, they are believed to be the entrance to the underground world. The Mayans thought them too dangerous for people to explore mainly for spiritual reasons. Now they grant access to the large caverns which are their underground water supplies, but you must first attend a brief blessing by a shaman to protect your spirit. Also you are made to shower off before descending into the Cenote. After all preparations are complete, you are welcome to walk down or repel into the cool waters below. There are zip lines and diving platforms to enhance the activities in the Cenote. Afterwards they offer authentic Mayan dishes prepared and served on site to visitors. Overall a very different and interesting activity. The only drawback may be the travel time if you are booked in a large group picking up from multiple resorts. I was told it was a two hour trip by van, which became four hours one way after making four additional stops for other tourists. I'm still happy I went, but I was misinformed by the booking company about the travel time involved. Its a full day but worth it. Just know what you're in for.

Great outing!
Be sure to know they operate on QR time, even though it is located in Yucatan time zone. If you get there at 4 pm they are closed, because they use QR Time and act as if it is 5 pm when your mobile device says 4. Long drive for disappointment. It's probably nice if you can get in.
Fun times! Well organized, great swimming, diving and zip lines!
Great Cenote, get fed locally grown food too. We had it to ourselves unlike many other Cenotes.
A beautiful, very clean Cenote that is half in the sun and half covered. It has a ledge for cliff jumping too
