Fantastic discovery!
We pulled off onto a side road to park and have breakfast at a restaurant on the main street. But seeing a sign for full English breakfast, we decided to stop instead at Batey.
Perfect decision. Everything was deliciouscafe con leche, jugo verde, ham and cheese omelette, huevos ahogados (eggs poached in tomatoes with nopal and beans).
The real bonus was the live music. A fantastic guitarist, Pablo, plays Monday mornings. Terrific entertainment to accompany a wonderful breakfast!response / report this review -

A great bar with live music at 8 pm. A lot of variety of mojitos. Made with freshly sauezzed sugar cane.

We have tried all the Mojitos and recommend everyone to try the same ( the best we ever had) and the winner was the one with passion fruit. The recipes for the drinks are delicious no matter what you drink. The life music is great, can be a bit loud in the back if you haven't had the Mojitos first but other than this the place is full of beautiful people. The location is great being on one of the coolest streets with people just enjoy drinks on the street. We came back a few times both during the day when it is more chilled and no life music.

Only tried the drinks but boy were they tasty!! And I couldn't stop gnawing on the sugar cane. Also, there was great music going on.
