Typical of Costa Rican towns, Atenas has a spacious park located right in front of the church. Freshly painted baby blue benches dot the corradores that lead to a central circle of space that frequently hosts music and cultural events. Giant Palms help shade the area. Grab a bench a while the day away.. The park could use a bit of grooming..
