  We come over to Chetumal from Belize. We have a few favorites. My husband and I had tried Almina for breakfast. It was just OK same-o-same-o however we decided to do lunch. Totally impressed. Reason for only 4 stars, No one spoke English but they do have an English menu and we are in a Spanish speaking country so that falls on us, not Almina staff. I have eaten lunch there 4 times in the last three months. It is a great place to show-off what Chetumal has to offer. Plan to try an over night and do dinner so we will see how dinner goes.

  Es un lugar con buen sazón y buen ambiente que regularmente visitaba. Dejó de ser mi favorito la semana pasada que fui con amigos a cenar. El sitio estaba lleno y tardaron mucho en servirnos la comida, pero lo más desagradable fue que después de nosotros llegó un periodista muy conocido a nivel nacional y a su mesa le sirvieron antes que a la de nosotros, incluso cuando habíamos pedido en su mayoría ensaladas y ellos platillos que conllevan más tiempo por su cocción. Es un lugar que no respeta a sus clientes.

  Carta ecléctica, buen sazón y servicio. Hay área con aire acondicionado y una terraza al aire libre, techada, con vista a la bahía. Precios correctos.

  Short walk from the pier, this was a great place to grab lunch before taking the water taxi to Belize. Very cool, modern restaurant with simple but fancy dishes. Welcoming and friendly staff that put up with my mediocre Spanish. I had fried tuna tacos (never seen tuna tacos fried before), which were amazing.

  The best place to eat at modérate prices. The Kobe burger, the tuna taquitos, the salads. Amazing.
