Yet another great stay at Acanto. The hotel is beautiful and clean, especially at night with the nicely lit courtyard. The rooms are spacious and well equipped with everything you need (silverware, cups, grilling utensils, plates, fridge, glasses, etc). The continental breakfast is well done and has everything you need before a day at the beach or walking the streets. I especially liked the hard boiled eggs and toast that were provided. The location is unbeatable. It's perfectly located off of 5th avenue where all the action is but you wouldn't know it because of how quite it is. All in all, we'll definitely be back to Playa and will be spending our vacation at Acanto.

I absolutely loved this hotel. It was such a prime location and the reception was so welcoming and friendly. Every restaurant that Anja recommended was to die for!! The rooms were spotless and they supplied fresh towels every day. I loved the showers too they were very large and the king beds were extremely comfortable. The view from the penthouse roof at the top was outstanding and you could the ocean very close. It was less than a block to the beach and even closer to the shops and restaurants on the strip. Breakfast every morning was great too!! They had a wide assortment of food and it was so convenient to be able to eat there every day.

Absolutely beautiful. Great location right off the main street, close to the beach. The women at the front desk were so welcoming and helpful. We really enjoyed their continental breakfast each morning which was not only convenient but very well done.

Loved our room, it was so comfortable with a private balcony. It was spotless when we arrived and continuously cleaned throughout our stay, the entire staff was fantastic. We already cannot wait to come back here for another vacation.

Great hotel right in the center of the city. Close walking distance to beaches, restaurants and shopping. Rooms were very clean and kitchen had all the amenities we needed (silverware, oven, stove, microwave and grill). The continental breakfast was a great start to our day!

I would highly recommend Acanto. We only stayed one night, but it was incredibly comfortable (the beds are amazingly comfy), the air conditioning was awesome and it's very quiet despite being right on 5th near all of the action. It's just a quick stroll to the beach too. We will stay here again. The front desk woman (can't remember her name) was incredibly helpful with restaurant recommendations and directions. I loved it in every way. For the price, I don't think you can beat this place. The rooftop has an amazing view. You won't regret staying here if in Playa.

My second time in Playa, first at this hotel. I love the location, two blocks from the beach, around the corner from 5th Ave. I was worried about how noisy the room would be at night, we booked 5 nights. I asked them prior to put us on a quite room and also mentioned this was a birthday trip so they let a nice birthday note along with a wine bottle in our room upon arrival. The staff is very friendly and helpful. We were able to communicate in perfect English with Anja at the front desk. We booked a suite on the second floor, rooms are new, comfortable bed, we’re very happy. Would definitely come back and recommend to anyone looking for a nice and cozy hotel in the heart of Playa.

Great location and service with very large, comfortable rooms. However, the facilities were subpar - the dishwasher was broken (though it was quickly fixed), the TV's are very small and blurry (there were three though), and the shower had very little water, making it difficult to shower properly.

Great room size and excellent customer service. The bathroom amenities were pretty good. Only downside is the pressure of the shower head is a bit low.

Second day of an 11 day stay. Love it! King room with kitchen is perfect. Room is well appointed. We were lucky to have discovered this spot. Great access to the beach and 5th ave. Super helpful staff.

This place is awesome! On quiet cobblestone street, around the corner from 5th Avenue shops and restaurants. Like brand new condos, stone bathrooms and great kitchen and balconies.

Wow! What a great Boutique hotel. The rooms are spacious and spotless. The staff "Bonito" nice and sincerely interested in you enjoying every minute of your stay. Step out the front door and take a left you are on 5th ave with all its activities, shops and restaurants. Take a right and walk 2 blocks and you will be on the beach.
The hotel is amazingly quiet considering its downtown location. It has underground parking that is safe and the staff is right there anytime you need to come and go. Another big bonus is the elevator (handicap Accessible) rooftop.. With lounge chairs and an outdoor kitchen. Most rooms have their own private space on the roof but there is also an area to share stories and meet other travelers.
I Highly recommend Acanto. Definitely 5 Of 5 Stars. Friendly, safe and very affordable. I stayed a week with my wife and we did not want to leave. Nick @ unleashedontheworld

This beautifully appointed hotel is right off the major shopping area, 5th Ave (Quinta Avenida). Breakfast is complementary. The staff is incredibly friendly and efficient. Can't wait to come back!♡
