Really nice hotel in Lilongwe - probably the premiere. Good location, not too far from the airport, and next door to the large convention center. Clean rooms, helpful staff, great breakfast. As good as it gets in Malawi, and comparable to anything you'd find in other more well-developed countries.

This is a new hotel built by the Chinese and we were impressed by the quality of the service and the rooms. OK, the remote control for the TV and AC are in Chinese as well, but management has placed stickers on top of a few buttons, so there was no need to panic. No sticker for the sleep timer unfortunately on the TV remote.

Everything works. It is a fresh new building. Outstanding service by staff. If you need a driver for the day, staff can assist you further. We arranged airport pick up by staff and it was reliable. I have seen most top hotels in town, and this one is now the favorite.

Breakfast buffet was of good quality.

Fantastic shoe shining service. He needs to survive on his little business in the lobby, so give him some business. A few dollars will go a long way for a shine.

Great place, definitely not a 5 star but certainly one of the best hotels in Lilongwe, if not the best. Good ambience, great food presentation. The problem is the consistency of service, during my stay there for 2 weeks, I was dissapointed with the quality of service.

CONS
The service is slow, certain items on the menu are not available. They reuse fish oil to make fries unless you complain. The water sometimes was brown. They have a gym but alot of equipment is missing. Turn down service happened once and that was at the beginning of my stay.

PROS

Great rooms and one gets the feeling of a luxurious setting in the beginning. Quaint.
The swimming pool is wonderful for a hot Saturday afternoon. The business center is well established and has useful amenities. The terrace bar setting is refreshing.

This is a great hotel to stay while in Lilongwe. Very clean and standard compared to other hotels I have been to in the region. The service was very friendly and helpful. My coworker had a problem using her American Express card while staying here. I use Visa and didn't have any problems. The breakfast in the morning is standard and has many options. Decent food and very safe.

Everytime I come to this hotel my experience is less pleasant than the one before.
The carpets in the rooms are getting more and more stained and leave you feeling unhappy about the surrounding.
The food is so expensive but is not at all fresh. It tastes overkept and the sauces are badly made. Everything about this hotel is beginning to feel overpriced.
The internet connection is extremely bad and keeps disappearing.
The hotel is nice but I think they should work harder at making the stay and the services provided match the prices.

Wonderful hotel and so kind and friendly staff, food is delicious, not that big GYM but good one, the room is nice and clean and comfortable. The only thing about the swimming pool is that the water doesn't look so clean! I did not try it.

This is a wonderful place to stay. The service here is second to none. The buffet is simply delicious, with a wide variety of selections. The entire staff, from the reception to the cleaners are extra friendly and love to make your stay extraordinary!
