A bit run down. Nice restive place but needs a touch of love on the accommodation

MABUYA is the llamas pyjamas. A essential stop for any Malawi trip. The team make you feel so at ease, the food is delicious, and the beer is ice cold. They've got all you need for campers through en-suite guests. Secure parking, decent Wi-Fi, and very friendly guests. As good as it gets. 5*

We loved this place. We arrived and were immediately greeted by the manager Kelly, who showed us around and then organised some refreshing gin and tonics for us after a long drive. The rooms were clean, the food was delicious, the pool was a relaxed and friendly place to hang out, and even when the power went out (which it does quite often everywhere in Malawi) everyone cosied up by the bar by candlelight and had a good time.

A little pricey, but good accommodation and a comfortable complex.

A pricy but comfortable backpackers. A lot of volunteer and NGO workers are located here so it's a good way to meet interesting people. It's completely isolated from the city which is good for some and bad for others. Amenities and food are OK. I slept in a tent and had peaceful sleeps.

Great place for backpackers and solo travellers.
Decent food, decent accommodation and service isn't all that bad.
Also very convenient, they have a booking office where you can plan all your onward travel.
Restaurant has honest food with good quantities.
