As the morning breaks the sun rays come piercing through the glass windows announcing the start of a brand new day in the heart of Africa. You are encouraged to step out to watch the beauty of the African horizon as the sun heads up printing it's golden rays in the waters. You have never seen anything like it before.
Sounds of chattering women and children grow louder as they get on to exploit the lake waters for swimming, washing clothes and plates and, interestingly, fishing. They fish in small groups doing it with so much leisure! Rythmically the jump up and down as though dancing to an East African traditional song. Moving in sync to capture the small fishes using mosquito nets.. It is a marvel to watch knowing to well that the spoils are meant for a family's meal.!
