We only came for lunch while we were on the road but I needed to leave a review because Linda went out of her way to help me out because I had an interview. We arrived really shortly before the interview time and she rushed to get me set up in a room, connected to the wifi (which is quite good btw), got me a drink and wished me luck while my friends got lunch. She and Mike were so kind and supportive and the lunch I had afterwards was excellent. Beautiful view of the beach and the whole place looked amazing. Wonderful customer service - thanks Linda!!!

I passed by just to check out the castle, ok place. They don't allow day visitors to use the pool or buy drinks at the bar but you can have breakfast MWK 10,000 or lunch MWK 15,000. Friendly staff showed us around took pictures. Great place to lounge at the beach. The road from main road to the castle is very narrow and grassy, cassava fields on each side. Once you get on itno turning back! But thankfully no traffic ☺

I stopped for lunch. Very friendly staff and beautiful views. For lunch they only have 2-course and 3-course options for 15,000 or 20,000 kwacha, which is very expensive by Malawi standards (and for what you get).

I wanted to stay here - but the castle was fully booked. My bad luck!
We were allowed to camp here. Very nice place with a good view of Lake Malawi.
Wid not get anything to eat in the restaurant. Not even a small crumb of bread or dry rice

Very unfriendly have never experienced something like that. certainly not in a house with such a claim.
    Completely incomprehensible!!

Rooms not well furnished, no TV, no power backup, water can be muddy, yet very crooked pricing system. When alone, you pay fixed room rate that you would pay when 2, yet when 3 share the room, they increase the costs as if the additional one has occupied a totally different room. you bring your drinks within their premises and they see you drinking, they charge 5,000MK ($7)for every 1 liter bottle (MK25,000 - $35 for a 5 liter wine casket) without even telling you in advance. Very poor communication, not understanding, with very conventional way of doing things and put more interest in the money than the welfare of a customer. I wouldn't recommend a visit there.
