It's a good place to stay if one loves living amid nature (trees, greenery, wild animals cool weather etc)

My family and i went on saturday for safari but i didnt enjoy it cause the animals over there were useless they should bring good animals. there was a lake which shouldn't be called a lake it soumd be a pond. please improve your service.

My wife and I took our two children (5 and 9) there today just to spend the afternoon.
It is a serenely calm and ambient place. The overall state of the structure is well kept. Although the men's toilets could to with a serious refurbishment. It is great to feel so secluded and integrated into nature while being barely 20 miles away from the city of Blantyre.
Their food menu is well balanced and very well priced. the T-bone steaks were succulent and tender, but they lacked right level of searing for the medium-rare kind we ordered. Their desserts are all amazing!
The shining light in our visit though, was our host: a gentleman by the name of Blessings. A (sincere) smile was on his face the entire time. He was friendly and courteous yet professional and knowledgeable too. We'll certainly be back soon.response / report this review -

Game Haven was a different experience than I was used to in Africa. We really enjoyed the experience and being so close to Blantyre it wasn't film day used up by travel. The staff were very professional and friendly. We also had an opportunity to chat with one of the owners, he spent time with all of the visitors having lunch. The food was excellent, it actually may have been on of the better lunchs I had on my trip. Thank You!

A 25 minute drive from Blantyre city along the thyolo road and dirt road stretching about 4km will get you to Game haven. You are met with a simplistic, but beautiful scenery from the entrance gate and all the way to the reception.
A great place to get away from the busy town life. It's not a five star accommodation but definitely a nice affordable place to get the much needed breather. Whether you are a day visitor or an overnight stayer, there is something to make your stay exciting.
One of the few places I have found to have plenty activities which include but not limited to Bike riding, game drive, bush walk, golf with 9 holes, fishing and bird watching.
Not to forget the good food, small variety than a usual hotel, but the food is prepared to perfection.
I would give this place another go at any time and you should too!response / report this review -

Great place to watch the sunset however service is very slow and inconsistent. The menu is nothing special and we ordered chicken and chips. The chicken was tasty but greasy and the chips should have been dabbed to get rid of the excess oil. Not only that, they used poor quality potatoes for the chips. This place is not worth the price and I only recommend coming here for drinks. In order to get any attention for the bill you have to walk up to the cash register. Make sure you check the bill as they incorrectly charged us on top of everything, without any apology.

Good view in a mid of dry brown land. Well maintained garden. Good place to have lunch after wild life safari. Special buffet and bar is available. and there is a golf area with members only access.
Good place to get a change during busy life in Malawi.Ideal place to get accommodation for travelers.
Food, Bar and serving service is pretty much good.
But I don't satisfied with swim pool.Pool was not maintained properly. Freeze water with salty. That was a very bad experience.response / report this review
