I currently am on Gurahali and cannot let another day pass without conveying my deepest appreciation to the entire crew for making this the greatest snorkeling adventure possible. Our Captain went out of his way to guarantee everything was perfect even taking his personal time to snorkeling with me to a reef were he had spotted a shark earlier that day! The cook is stellar creating dishes that catered to a variety of personal preferences. Our cabins and all the common areas are kept immaculately clean. What a treat to have perfectly regulated air conditioning in all the cabins. Does the bar man ever get a chance to sleep? He has fresh coffee prepared for us who enjoy raising early and provides courteous service for the night owls. As a company, you can rest assured that the entire crew is truly an asset and represent you with A+ quality.
I wish I had recorded the names of all the atolls and reefs we visited as I plan to return next year as there is such a wide variety of sea life to enjoy.
On this trip we experienced the thrilling experience of swimming up close (respectful for creature) with turtles, nurse sharks, rays, dolphins, and a plethora of brilliantly colored reef fish. Yes, we found thousands of Nemo and Dory’s relatives! Once again the captain and crew provided understanding, patience, and encouragement for the insecure snorkeling novices. And for the experienced, Abdu, lead us on many deep free dives to see many sleeping creatures on the bottom and shy fish hiding in the wreck.
Suggestion: bring your own face mask and snorkel with top valve to be 100% guaranteed of a good fit with no uncomfortable leaks. Plenty of fins aboard. Novices should consider a snorkeling vest as currents can be strong with choppy swells. Don’t forget zink oxide for sun protection.
Thank you for a trip of a lifetime. inshallah, God willing, I will be with you in 2023.

I just wanted to say what an amazing time we had on the Gurahali over the last two weeks. The boat is amazing, very clean and has plenty of shade to relax during the day. The crew was attentive and helpful throughout the trip. Saalmon, our chef was insistent on baking a birthday cake for one of our travelers and it was so beautiful and tasty. Speaking of tasty food the entire trip was top-notch. We were all very impressed. We would travel with the Gurahali crew anytime, anywhere.

Shardha was very helpful in assisting us with our PCR tests. I know that this is new after Covid but she worked hard to secure a test facility in Gan and they were right on time and very professional. Thank you Shardha.

    Again, thank you Voyages Maldives

Just completed a 10 night surfing safari on the Gurahali. We started in Male’ and end up in the Laamu Atoll. Our surf guide, Nahoo, was exceptional. The whole experience was fantastic - the crew were friendly and very attentive to all our needs. The chef, Saalmon, was amazing - his bread making is out of this world, the curries, pasta, grilled fish, salads, French toast, smoothies, birthday cake, etc…were all incredible. The Gurahali is a special boat. Very roomy - we had 11 people in our party and always felt like there was plenty of space for everyone - the top deck is spacious and relaxing, the front “couch” on the main deck was my favorite, especially when sailing, inside the main cabin there were plenty of places to sit. The rooms were very comfortable. A great place to hideaway if you want some cool air and a break from the heat. Nahoo knows the Maldives. He has been a surf guide for over 20 years. He works well with his crew and found us great surf. Access to two support vessels was very helpful - the Dhony and “rib” were essential to dropping us off close to the surf and collecting us at the end of the session. If you are looking for a relaxed, super fun local Maldives surf trip on a spacious boat with an excellent guide and friendly crew - book the Gurahali!
