To reach Villingilli it takes about 7-10 minutes by a ferry. There is always a ferry in about 10 minutes between Malé and Villingilli until almost 12 at night. After that you may wait for 15 minutes to an hour for ferries. There are ferries for other islands as well, e.g. Maafushi, Thilafushi, etc. Overall service quality is good and the ferries are never late

This is new temporary terminal. it is small but Well designed. Toilet & seating places are available. But there are no shops around. There is water refill place inside. You can refill water from there. Ticket booking is easy. If you are coming in afternoon, it might get crowded with vehicles

Good Ferry Service Organized by MTCC to Villingili, every 5mins you can catch a ferry from Male' city to Villingili and back. Many scheduled public ferries also organized as well to other local Islands such as Maafushi, Rasdhoo, Thulusdhoo etc.

Ferry would take 10-15 minutes to reach Villingili. Terminal is spacious but seating is not that comfortable.

As well as ferries to Villingili, which depart every ten minutes throughout the day (with some ferries throughout the night too) and cost 3.25mrf (about 20 cents), there are other ferries that depart from this terminal too, such as the Vaavu atoll ferry and Maafushi ferry. Ferries to North Male atoll and North Ari also depart from here. For the Vaavu Atoll ferry, tickets go on sale from 3pm the previous day. The area is quite busy and the terminal is not air conditioned, but there is an AC restaurant called Seahouse Brasserie opposite the terminal which sells good coffee and food.

Ferries are quite old. Its ok to travel near by islands but its not comfortable. But this is best to travel to Villingili which takes 10mnts to travel. Will not recommend to take ferry to islands like Himmafushi, Maafushi etc. You can try onboard.mv and travel with speed boat. It will not cost much & it is much better, fast to travel. The best island near Male' is Dhiffushi as per my experience

If it is the local island you will need to take a taxi (about $1) to the Villigili ferry terminal which is on the other side of Male to the airport ferry terminal. Ferries are very frequent.

A trip to Villingili will cost you 3.25 Rufiya.
The journey takes about 15 minutes.
There is a shop just outside this terminal.
For 15 Rufiya you can get cold, sweet, tasty coconut water (500 ml).
This place is quite hot and humid.

Crowded area, ferry to Thilafushi rates are highest in the country. But Thilafushi ferry is worst ferry in the country. Ferry windows are above head height. Ferry timings are limited. After 10:30 no ferry to Thilafushi.

The ferry terminal to the other atolls. We went to Maafushi and Huraa through this terminal. There are ticket counters at the back and waiting area facing the sea. There are toilet and cool drinking water but there is no bag storage area yet.
