  Een deel van het eiland is prachtig, er zwemmen haaien, er zijn zand tongen en de zee is prachtig. Aan de andere kant hoe meer je naar het zuiden loopt hoe meer afval er op de grond ligt tot je opeens voor een mega grote vuilnisbult staat

  Viligili island is a former resort island that was destroyed by the tsunami and now is accesible for visiting and having a sunbath and picnik and swimming. Sadly the island is still full of garbage (although they cleaned more then half of what it looked like in march when we were last time there). But near the dock you have a beautiful piece of jungle with lots of coconut trees, a clean beach and shallow waters to relax. Going along the beach on the right side (not looking to some garbage piles wich will also dissapear in the next months) you get to the "shark point" at the edge of the reef where most of the times you can see lots of 30-40 cm long baby reef sharks playing and learning to feed chasing small fish in the shallow waters or attacking them in the waves. It's a must see experience watching them. I'm curious how it will look like in april when we return there.

  A chaque fois que j'ai voulu organiser une soirée sortant de l'ordinaire sur North male Atoll et sur une ile déserte , c'est sur l'ile de Viligilimathidhahuraa que j'ai pu le faire
