Wonderful island. Very warm and shallow waters, perfect for snorkelling. Not too busy. Great service. A paradise island. And great food.

An experience that I will never forget, I went to this island back in 2013 and I am planning to go back soon. Many friends and family members have recommended me to go to other islands but somehow I have been attached to this one. Everything was high end. Staff were more than kind, and service was top notch. Food was great, they have one of the best menu's. Water activities such as jet skiing, scuba diving, diving are all available and I did almost all of them, they were all surreal. I recommend this resort/island to many people who want to have the best adventure and would pay the price to have the fun and wouldn't care.

We went to velassaru mid September which was in the transition point between the slower and rainy season. They pick you up at the airport and you get in the transfer boat and it takes you right up into the resort which is an island in itself. The staff were warm and friendly and our cabin was right on the beach which was perfect. The bathroom in the cabin was one of the nicest I've seen and the outdoor shower was a real delight. The place is exactly as you would see in a postcard and there was even a couple of cranes that hung out on the beach and I swear seemed like they were being paid to be there for photo ops. We ate at turquoise almost every day as Jason and Dinesh there were great servers, very attentive super friendly and just a delight to chat with. The food was really good and we got very tan sitting on the beach all day
