  Staff is friendly, rooms were clean but AC is loud and not very cold. Breakfast is below average. Very close to the airport bus stop. Initially rooms were very stuffy and our first allocated room had no hot water which the management knew about. Once we mentioned this to management, we were all allocated a new room. Given that they knew about the issue, it was annoying that they allocated us the first room as we had already unpacked and had to repack due to the room change.

  Nice beds.
  Small rooms.
  Helpful staff.
  10 usd for airport transfer.

  We arrived in Maldives late at night so we decided to stay a night in a not so expensive hotel before we checked in to the over the water room the next 5 days. We paid way less for the Sandgate inn for a night stay so my husband told me not to expect much of the hotel however I was surprised when we entered our room. It was very clean, well decorated and well maintained room. Feels like everything in the room is pretty much new. The staffs were very nice. They offered us free breakfast of which we were not expecting. Definitely exceeded our expectations and would highly recommend.
