Nice public gathering place in the heart of Male city. The settings are nice and relaxing.
The place is generally good. However proper barricades need to be installed to avoid children going into the gardened area.
It has a great view..
And love the Fountains
BTW Love the Koi fishes
It's redesigned and made into the perfect master park for all families and is the biggest park in Male'.
A beautiful park adjacent to the republic square. And the sultan mosque. Ideal place ro visit in the evenings. Dancing fountain, swings for the kids or just to sit in the park.
A ticket of 75mvr is to be given by the foreignrs for entry
The lights are spectacular and the place is great!
Before it was renovated, when this place was known as Sultan Park, this was a beautiful green space, open to anyone. Now that it's been reopened, the place is covered is garish coloured lights, using a lot of electricity, and it is now not free for foreigners to access. Maldivians can access the park free of charge, but there is now a quite high fee for foreigners, meaning that migrant workers can no longer acess the park because they cannot afford the entrance fee.
Recently rebranded to Rasrani Park with kids playing areas
Most prominent area of Male' city. National library, national museum and children park Rasrani park is in this block.
Its being renovating one its finished it would be a beatuiful place to hangout to all ages. Soon it will be open to all
Old Male' beach side is very historical site of Maldives. Most of kings are lived in this area.
Nice place to go n relax with kids
Turn as a new amusement park soon with new development for sultan park
A nice place for break. This used to be part of the Palace when the Maldives was a sultanate (kingdom). The park is small (takes less than 3 minutes to cross the park from one end to the other) and you can hear the sound of vehicles horn in the adjacent roads. The only "quiet" place in Male'.
From here you can easily visit the museum and the grand Mosque which are both within about 3 minute walking distance.
The park has no toilets, no drinking water facilities and not enough seating arrangements. The park is in need of major repairs and maintenance.
A nice place with different trees, good for a walk, currently under construction
Oldest park in the city. Renovated and now a place where many events take place.
Currently one of the least appealing parks in Maale. Be careful in the evenings and late nights.
